The Bachelorette

I've followed Lisa since she left the BB house - and she's not like that at all on SM - she's the most positive person and interacts really well with people who leave comments ... there is no negativity at all around her
Anyone can cultivate a positive spun persona on social media. That doesn't mean it's the real you. Actions speak louder than Twitter and Insta.

As for the dresses, they'd be borrowed. I doubt any TV network is spending $20k on a dress that appears on TV for five minutes.

so borrow a different one - how hard would it be?!

True. It's very strange indeed. It's a lovely dress (I like it better than both Snez and Lana's) so maybe it simply deserved another run? Ultimately they are going to choose what they have access to and what looks best (and fits) on Sam. Perhaps they simply figured it was Rachel so no one would remember LOL. Nevertheless, it sure beats the feather thing from the night earlier.

anything beats that!! I loved the Sam the Eagle meme :)

They should have been kept apart until the finale aired.
It did not hurt the show, people still tuned in. To me it was like the boy who cried wolf, we got fed so many tips, hints and so called spoilers that no one knew if it was really true anyway.

Yes but they were in that hotel room to film the message that's played straight after finale. Not like they were just meeting up to scruff each other.

Network Ten has dropped legal action to stop Daily Mail Australia from publishing an article that revealed Bachelorette Sam Frost and partner Sasha Mielczarek kissing and cuddling hours before the show’s finale.

The New South Wales Supreme Court late on Thursday imposed an injunction that forced Daily Mail Australia to remove the exclusive story from its website and social media channels as the finale of the show was being aired.

Barrister David Sibtain, acting for Ten, asked the court to dissolve the injunction shortly after 2pm on Friday afternoon.

Matthew Richardson, the barrister representing Daily Mail Australia, told the court: 'This is what we asked for this morning but we were met with trenchant opposition'.

Justice Rowan Darke formally dissolved the injunctions, stood the proceedings over until next Monday and reserved costs.

Network Ten is expected to make a claim for damages by way of a summons from the publication next week. If so, Daily Mail Australia is expected to defend those proceedings.

Daily Mail Australia is seeking costs for court proceedings held about the matter on Friday morning.

The court had ordered the article and all social media posts referring to the images also be removed until further notice.

The website was barred from describing who or what was in the story or photographs.

After the injunction was lodged, a spokesman for Daily Mail Australia said: 'We were served with an injunction by Network Ten, but we have not had sight of the reasons for the judge's decision.

'We swiftly abided by the terms of the injunction, however, but shall be challenging the terms of that injunction immediately as we do not consider that such a decision is either fair or right.’

The images were published ahead of the final episode of the programme which centres on a single woman who attempts to find a potential husband from a pool of 14 men.

This year's climax saw Sam Frost pick 30-year-old engineer Sasha Mielczarek after dumping professional soccer player Michael Turnbull earlier in the episode.

Fighting back tears, Miss Frost, 26, told her new beau: 'I've been waiting my whole life to meet you.'

And returning his declaration of love from earlier in the show, she added: 'Sash, I love you so much.'

Within minutes of the show's conclusion, the pair shared a video revealing their joy with Miss Frost gushing: 'I just feel so lucky to have a second chance'.

She told viewers: 'A huge thank you and a shout out to everyone at home for just supporting us the whole time.

'A huge cheers to all of you guys, I just feel so lucky to have a second chance so thank you everyone – especially this guy.'

Network Ten came in for criticism earlier this year for its low-budget finale of The Bachelor, which saw Sam Wood offer his final rose to Snezana Markoski in Sydney – instead of an exotic foreign location like the previous season's South African getaway.

And the broadcaster once again cut costs in the latest show, this time by giving Miss Frost an identical dress to one worn by another Bachelor contestant.

Miss Frost's hand-beaded Philippa Galasso gown is the same as the one worn by The Bachelor intruder Rachel Moore, who vied for Sam Wood's heart alongside eventual runner-up Lana Jeavons-Fellows.

In addition to wearing a recycled ensemble, Miss Frost’s gown was also worth thousands of dollars less than the dresses Snezana and Lana donned on The Bachelor finale.

Network Ten, also known as Channel Ten, is an Australian broadcasting network based in Pyrmont, New South Wales.

It airs a range of reality shows including I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Gogglebox, Masterchef Australia and The Biggest Loser.

they can't help but keep getting the cheap shots in about cost cutting and recycled gowns

There might have been a little bit of scruffing ;) I've never heard that term scruffing, I like it :)

Also, those Daily Mail photos were staged and were meant to actually be released today not 2 hours before the finale.
