The Bachelorette

I too have a soft spot for Wil. Very clever and slightly dorkily hot. Beats Adam Hills hands down. No question. Todd Sampson isn't bad either :) See you tomorrow. Post night shift weariness has caught up with me. I'll watch the you're fired bit of Apprentice and then go to bed.
I do like the Last Leg though. Have you seen that?

Several times and it's not bad, but I think that Adam is more contrived than Wil. I also really hate that thing he does with the pen, twirling it on his fingers. Stop showing off I say, lol.

Wow Drew looked hot tonight! But if she's not feeling it then letting him go early on is the right thing to do. I think it might have been due to him showing too much vulnerability too soon so she developed protective rather than romantic feelings for him - not his fault but just unfortunate that there was the jumping into water challenge.

Well, I thought that was totally inappropriate to pash the old fellow off at the cocktail party when they already had their chance in private earlier! Very bad form. But clearly she has the hots for him. The mind boggles. Sasha is the most unlikely sex god. He's like some skeevy 45 year old at a bar leering drunkenly down at the young things. I just can't see the appeal. I guess there really is a lid for every pot.

Now that Drew is gone, I am struggling to like any of them except maybe Richie. She just keeps booting the even slightly interesting ones. I don't think this particular series is going to end in love, somehow.

Bring on the intruders! If only...

Drew Woolford has gotten back on his bike in more ways than one since leaving leaving The Bachelorette mansion.

The avid cyclist was spotted in Brisbane on Wednesday afternoon, suited up in a skin-tight lycra suit ahead of his elimination from the reality TV show.

The 31-year-old sleep technician had half of his trademark long locks pulled back and wore a backwards cap underneath his helmet.

Saying goodbye: The 31-year-old reluctantly said goodbye to Sam Frost on Wednesday night's episode
Proudly revealing his chiselled body underneath, Drew rode on sitting up and without his hands on the handlebars, to show off his buff body.

The keen cyclist also revealed he felt 'caged' inside the mansion as he was not able to be his normal active self or show Sam Frost his more fun side.

Outlet to vent! Drew appeared to release his pent up frustrations as he cycled around Brisbane

'With Sam, I didn't actually get to be more of my usual whimsical, retarded self,' he told AAP.

'In that environment you are bored most of the time,' he explained, adding: 'I'm an energetic person.

'All of a sudden I'm caged in a house with no real outlet or vent.

Down to business: The reality TV star appears to be a serious cyclist and showed good form

'It was almost like I was sometimes a bit more on edge than I normally would be,' Drew revealed.

Clearly enjoying his time out on the open road again after his few weeks cooped up in the mansion, the Brisbane boy had a big smile on his face.

However, that could have more to do with the new lady in his life, who shares plenty of attributes with The Bachelorette.

Cutting his hair? Drew says he is considering his trademark long locks because he thinks it's sad when he doesn't know if his wearing his own hair tie or his girlfriend's

'She's 26, she's a brunette and she's named Sam,' he revealed before acknowledging the eerie similarities to the 26-year-old reality TV star.

And his new relationship has made him question his now famous long straight locks, with the bachelor admitting he may cut off his hair.

'It's a sad thing when you're with your girlfriend and you don't know whose hair tie you've got,' he admitted.

'Didn't think I'd be in the top five': Drew says he wrote off his chances of getting to the end of the competition, the moment he saw the other guys

Drew also confessed that he never gave himself a chance once he sized up to the other blokes in the competition, saying: 'I really didn't think I'd be in the top five'.

However, he says he's proud of being true to himself, explaining: 'All the stuff I said on there, it's real,'

'I do wear my heart on my sleeve. I am very open about my feelings and emotions. I'm just brutally honest all the time, sadly,' he added.

The Bachelorette Australia continues Thursday, 7.30pm, Network Ten.

Did anyone else notice Drew's eyes during the rose ceremony? Either he had peeled 1000 onions, or he had been given 'the talk' beforehand.

Yes! They were really pink, as if he'd been crying.
They were like that in the first ceremony too. Contact lenses perhaps? Just had a thought. I wonder how many of the contestants are smokers. I was thinking of smoke irritating them but we haven't any smoking going on (of the cigarette variety :) )

I think he knew ... he made himself too vulnerable in her eyes ... too many issues there for her to need to deal with
I got a sense from other things (like him spending a lot of time straightening his hair) that he wasn't 100% himself in there - never a good idea.
But the whole "besotted" stuff on the one on one time after the leap of faith thing - too much vulnerability way too soon

Sam really does go to mush around Sasha ... not really sure why - he's nice enough but a bit of a blokey bloke and dorky at times when with the boyz ...

I was a bit surprised Drew went last night - I guess for me I'd be wanting to get rid of Davey and Will (because I can't unsee that weird video now!) and Kayne (cRAP! I thought BBAU Jake's rapping was bad enough but THAT was horrendous! - although kudos to him for putting himself out there time and time again to be laughed at ... first the headstand now this? stop with the stunts Kayne!!)

Wondering how tonight's date with Alex will roll ... I'm getting silent and moody vibes from him which I don't like so it will be good to see him on a date and learn more about him

oh and could they have been anymore awkward with the dancing?
I guess its hard to do an Argentine tango whilst maintaining a bit of distance ... for a first date that's really needing them upclose and in each other's personal space ... and neither one looked all that comfortable

was waiting for a wardrobe malfunction the entire time - Sam looked hot!

I think it's an excursion farewell date for Alex. You can't like Sasha and Alex at the same time.

I was surprised Alex wasn't eliminated last night. He's been invisible on the show and in Sam's affections. He didn't even get a storyline before he gets dumped, and it seems a bit late to invent a personality for him now.
