To be honest it was the ex players that came out denying what he said that has me side eyeing him.

We'll see if it was the Bachelorette production who ran with it though.
For example Emily was never a 'Business executive':D

Haha it's funny though, did he or the production team think that the truth wasn't going to come out for something like this? As others have said being a substitute/reserve/whatever he was is still a great accomplishment, so they should have just gone with that. I know if I met a dude at a party and he said he was a reserve player I'd be like "cool you've done well for yourself!" but if he said he'd played at the Olympics and I find out later he hadn't, I'd be like "hmmm what else is he embellishing".

I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say he has grown as a person since then.

As someone who honestly does think he has squinty eyes and a pointy nose and he kind of has that bloated face thing happening, so dare I say, not overly that attractive in my eyes (still more attractive than many there), though he suddenly became hot when he held his own when David interrupted him and again for defending David against the heat he received after his exit from the bachelorette series. So I'm not defending him based on my ovaries not staying at bay. Anyways, my point is it was 9 years ago, and we are all capable of doing some growing up in that amount of time.

I'd like to think he's grown since then. You facial description of him is accurate but it works for me, to a degree. I'd prefer a more defined cheekbone line and then he'd be hot, hot, hot. Plus, I quite like a pointy nose arrangement. Sharper features appeal to me. However, pencil thin gingery upper lip hair, a la David, International model, spoil the look. Mind you, he looks better now than in his earlier catalogue work.

I don't think it is generally coming from people liking Michael and wanting him to win - it is coming from people thinking no one deserves the bull shit he is being put through.

I'm sort of the same. One feature I dislike on one person will be completely different on another. I don't find Michael ugly in any way despite my analysing lol, but I also don't get the hype I suppose. So far Richie is the most attractive to me, though he is far too fair in the type I go for.

I can see how David is a model, I just don't find him appealing either. He always look smug too, I don't think he can help that, but maybe it's the features you described that make him appear that way. It's fair to say depending on the warmth a persons fave gives makes them more or less attractive.
