Interestingly, the winner of Bachelor Australia season 1 and season 3 (not sure about season 2 but the results of that one was a mess anyway) were the ones who went on the 2nd single date. My theory is that this is because whenever the main star of the show has a favourite, they don't pick them for the first single date because that would make it too obvious, but they don't want to delay it too much either. Sooooooooooo, Sasha getting the 2nd single date is looking good for him.

hmmm... that's a very interesting theory. I was expecting Sasha to have the first single first date.

I haven't watched any of the bachelor Australia seasons. Not even one single episode, even though I was related to Rochelle in S1.

However, just watching bachelorette episode one on replay on Ten atm and I think Sam is charming and genuine. I've watched some of the US version years ago and I am finding these 'first meetings' refreshingly Australian and genuine. I like that she has been honest with the guys and it's not too formal.

I think I might try to watch the series.

I've read some stuff about the model dude. He was creepy from the first moment.

However a promo clip for next week's show, reveals that the 26-year-old's potential suitors will step their affection vying tactics up a notch, as they strip down to impress the brunette beauty.

Dave Billsborrow, Davey Lloyd, Kieran Nicholson and Michael Turnbull are selected by Sam to take part in a group challenge which involves posing shirtless with a number of cute puppy dogs in a photo shoot which takes place on a farm.

Meanwhile, exercise physiologist Kieran holds two adorable Pomeranian puppies in his hands close to his rippling torso as he beams excitedly at the camera.

Professional footballer Michael sits casually in a chair as he affectionately pats the head of an American Cocker Spaniel dog showing off the results of his very physically demanding career.

The goal keeper then goes on to reveal he is interested in grabbing Sam's attention, saying: ‘I want Sam to see me for who I am.’

'I'm physically attracted for you,' he goes on to confess as the pair sit side by side in an intimate setting.

Sasha then tries to take things to the next level, telling Sam as he places a tender hand on her leg: 'I just want to kiss you right now.'

However Sam is shown looking rather unimpressed and a little taken aback with his premature confession.

Previous show teasers have hinted that the pair will go on to enjoy several dates in upcoming weeks, prompting other bachelors to reveal their annoyance about the tactics they believe are used on the show.

Isn't that nice of them to totally ignore Tony who is in the first photo? the airline cabin manager... with his perfect hair he reminds me of a Ken doll but he seems like he has a good sense of humour and would be a lot of fun.


Watching the replay tonight there was a promo showing Sasha saying he wants to kiss Sam - but the promo made it out like he might have pushed too far too fast ... probably bs as usual ... but who knows
