What if reepbot were AntiGretel?

I enjoy reading your matter of fact style of posting on this (and other) subjects. But I'm a interested as to why the whole thing is such a continued issue. I'm aware there have been some specific issues and not for a moment unaware or unconvinced about some things, but everyone seems to have moved on for the most part? As I think you rightly put it, Reepbot (or others) could be the King of England. I'm curious as to why it matters so much provided no harm is caused, or is that the issue?
I could be Taylor Swift, but I can assure you I'm not (yuk! jokes)
You've got it backwards. It's rb that keeps on bringing it up like he has on this thread, moping that people think he's a troll, etc..

All I've said is that I notice some of the things he occasionally posts are somewhat inconsistent/contradictory and that I find it amusing. When confronted about it at the time he always manages to come up with some weak excuse (i.e. joking) which doesn't help his cause like he thinks it does. On the contrary it has the opposite effect.

Apparently that's all it takes for him to go all emo mode, bemoaning that everyone has it in for him and think he's a troll. I haven't actually accused him of that, that is his own take on it.
Well all he has to do is stop mentioning it and I will too.

Like I said previously I don't keep a mental list of all these instances, it's not something that's of great importance to me that I make a conscious effort to remember it. It's just an observation I make at the time, get a few laughs out of it and then I immediately forget. But I think I might have to write it down from now on just so rb doesn't get away with accusing me of making it up.

I wasn't referring to you when i made the troll comment post. I know you haven't accused me of that. But I do love how you continue to misread me.

@reepbot , why did/do you post on a football forum? I've never seen you mention liking football here, or is that for a different persona to this one?
Because I used to follow AFL but thyen I got bored with it. I'm not sure if it is a different persona. But it is kind of like where you act differently to different people according to the context of the situation.

Should have known con would be on that site.
Hey @Connoisseur seems like Jarryd Hayne might actually be the first significant Aussie to play gridiron.
What with all the Aussie Rules guys being good for is kicking![]()
I hate NFL I never thought there would be a worse sport than the thugbies on earth but NFL is it.
It is so tedious and mind numbingly dull mainly because most players are so 1 dimensional in that they have 1 specific job (i.e. punter) and that's all they do the entire game. The only exception to the rule is the quarter back.
It's nothing like beautiful free flowing games such as soccer, footy, basketball where players are constantly required to think on their feet, improvise and adjust according to what's unfolding in front of them. It's an incredibly regimented sport, bereft of creativity and imagination.
Moreover most of the players never get to touch the ball, especially those fatty whales who are basically glorified bouncers whose only job is to protect the quarter back by pushing and shoving all game long. How the fuck is watching that entertaning? Please.

Gridiron is a pathetic bastardization of an already inferior product, thugby. Yuck.
That said good luck to Hayne, I wish him all the best.

Ah, I see your point of view. Seems like the attention seeking and refuting of such seems to be the issue, not that I'm necessarily right about it. What would I know. You've got it backwards. It's true that some people can be a bit chameleon-like and I don't believe that's crime. It's just different, although I can understand how some people might naturally prefer more fixed types.Because I used to follow AFL but thyen I got bored with it. I always thought that being adaptable to the situation was a good thing.

I couldn't agree more about free-flowing sports requiring more strategy and thinking on your feet to score goals as part of a team (first hand experience here). It's nothing like beautiful free flowing games such as soccer, footy, basketball where players are constantly required to think on their feet, improvise and adjust according to what's unfolding in front of them. It's an incredibly regimented sport, bereft of creativity and imagination.

I totally think it is. Employers look for flexibility as a commercially valuable trait (amongst other qualities of course). On a personal basis, personal preference I suppose. Just a matter of balance.I always thought that being adaptable to the situation was a good thing.

People here think that i am inconsistent in my posting style which confuses and annoys them?

It is not for everyone but its entertaining if you're into it, its my favourite because it's the most strategic game ever. Its live chess.I hate NFL I never thought there would be a worse sport than the thugbies on earth but NFL is it.

You'd be happy to know my family has forced AFL on me, I first aid for my dad's team.
I can still only watch the first and last quarters though.

Not your posting style necessarily. Just some of the things you've said in the past don't quite match with some comments you make later on in various other threads. I'll do my best to write it down whenever I notice them agains but something tells me you won't be slipping up again any time soon.People here think that i am inconsistent in my posting style which confuses and annoys them?

It's not like I'm accusing you of being a bad person or anything so don't take it to heart. You're probably the most 'peculiar' poster since Chocolate Loving Entity.. Not that I'm suggesting ou're the same person, your peculiarities are very different.

Yeah I've heard that analogy before. But the people that make these claims usually can't stand playing chess let alone sit down and watch it.

FWIW I'm a chess fan and comparing a sport to chess isn't a compliment in my book; the 2 things are very different.
I don't like the stop-start nature of gridiron, how short the 'action' lasts (usually less than 10 seconds). I find the whole sport frustrating as a spectacle to be honest and lacking any redeeming qualities.
