I love a cryptic crossword . I am not very good at them though

I can't do Sudoku to save myself. Give me a cryptic any day and I'm not good at them. Straight crosswords are more my thing. I think you're either a numbers or letters person. Letters all the way here.
I am a sudoku addict - I love them ... particularly the samurai sudokus
have an app on my phone for sudokus but it makes it too easy to cheat so other than filling in time when waiting in a queue or at airport I prefer the printed versions and a pencil with a handy eraser tip
with cryptic crosswords I tried doing them for a while and found if I did them everyday from same source after a while I got used to the way the puzzler sets their clues ... but I've never yet completed a whole puzzle
KenKen puzzles are also fun ... and I liked the code cracker crosswords too
oh and Target - where you're given letters and have to find the word/words you can make from them and have a set target of words to list including one particular letter
my Grandad used to come over for dinner every Saturday when I was little and he used to do the puzzles and have me "helping" him ... he instilled the love of puzzles for me

well the red wine was right in front of me and the milk is downstairs in the fridge and would require negotiating past loungeroom with a Wallaby supporter getting a little angry at Quade Cooper and whoever the idiot was who included him back in the team ... and since I'm the enemy All Black supporter - I'm safer up here for the moment
... just until reality has the chance to sink in once again and he calms down and just accepts that the All Black's will hold on to the Bledisloe Cup once again
(i'm just kidding - I'm perfectly ok going downstairs - we've been married 30 years - he's used to it!!! )
