But I thought you liked mooses? Hence your name of mooseface?
Well...I do. But I DONT much like animated movies. (As in I haven't seen one for decades).

So - CONFLICT!

But... I don't really think of animated movies as real movies.... So not all that MUCH conflict.

Oh, ok. Well I disagree with you but don't care enough about the subject to argue further.

What else do you like besides mooses?

The Lion King was such a rip off of the original and the best KIMBA THE WHITE LION.

The name Simba says it all and the fact "Simba" was a white lion in the early production phase of The Lion King.

Kimba vs. Simba

Real (non-animated) movies. Mainly without mooses - in case you were going to ask. I can't recall seeing a movie (as opposed to TV) with mooses. So with people rather than mooses....

Yeah but the Lion King had Elton John. So that means it will always win.

But simba means lion in swalihi! It's a coincidence! You're wrong!

Yes I know that but how does Disney explain that "Simba" was a white lion in the early production phase? I am convinced Disney wanted to remake Kimba The White Lion but they couldn't get the rights so they went ahead with The Lion King.

All the similarities and interesting titbits like how Matthew Broderick thought he was going to do the voice in a Kimba The White Lion remake are listed here: http://www.kimbawlion.com/kimbawlion/rant2.htm :geek:

And to add there is a funny old google group discussion from 1993 with Roy Disney (They claimed they never heard of Kimba until The Lion King was released) where he talks about The Lion King and refers to Simba as Kimba. They could maybe explain it away with a typo or something but still hilarious...

Jill, you asked whether we had any "nice motherly figures"
in Disney's animated future.
Wait until you see next summer's "The Lion King," and
Kimba's mother. She's quite lovely.

What's wrong with Elton? I know he's no Tina. But he tries his best.

Just disagreeing that because Elton John does the music in The Lion King means that movie automatically wins against Kimba. ;)

Well it also wins in basically every other category. The music is just the cherry on top. No, wait. I hate cherries. Let's say....the raspberry on top.

Kimba was much cuter than Simba though!

And I liked Kimba's story better with him trying to bring the animals and the humans together.
