OMG!! I love little Alfie!! The house looks pretty good too Hope Billy conquers the stairs soon - Just a thought from a distant memory of watching Dr Harry - but are the steps open, as in only have the landing & not the rise? Cos little animals can freak out cos they can see through to the ground. If you can block the rise in so it's enclosed they feel safer & more secure

After 6 days I FINALLY HAVE POWER AND WIFI!


Which means.... I can put my bed back down to a normal sleeping state!. Haha!

At first it was fun and a bit exciting, then I got totally over it, then I came around to appreciating having no connectivity and stuff... now I feel like I have to readjust to life haha.

That's so good things are back in action, that's such a long wait. I was speaking with some coasties on the weekend and it sounded awful, they had to come stay in Sydney as they have a small baby and it was too hard.

It sounds like you've had every possible high bad low related to this, hopefully it's all behind you now!!

I was thinking of you last night @bleachy_dude and your no power and upright bed and thought you poor thing, and then I laughed and laughed! ( about the bed) not about the no electricity, that is no laughing matter. So glad things are back to normal. Just heard today my aunt has $1000's of damage from that freak rain and hail. Her excess in insurance is $2000. Wtf

Tell your aunt to check with govt assistance packages. She might get some support that way? hopefully.

Agreed but it's just hit me and I've been wondering ever since I saw this photo who does he remind me of, that he looks like a younger Tony Greig.
