It intrigues me. It fits so well with my passion for older people

Doodling can improve concentration and retention. It's scientifically proven
I can tell. You always have great advice when it comes to medical topics. Older people need genuine doctors who really do have an interest and understanding for their patient and what they do.

How's it all going there? When will you get power back? I love that you persevered with the bed lol.
Haha yeah maybe I'm an upright sleeper now. I haven't synced my Fitbit to my phone yet as it's not the best use of the power haha. But I'm keen to see how I'm sleeping.

It feels a little crazy to be so long without power. It's amazing how much we rely on electricity.

62 hours without power or phone reception. >.<

Oh and night three of sleeping upright. Haha.
Oh goodness! I can handle the lack of internet, but sleeping the way I like is my one thing I dislike being interrupted. I hope your back is handling it ok, try stretching in the mornings when you get up, just I case muscles tighten and all that

At least the Internet on my iPad (Telstra) is going a little faster now. I haven't logged into my account tho. Dreading to see how much this has cost me so far. I had put $300 data credit on a month or so ago. The plan was that was supposed to last 12 months haha.

Still zero (virgin mobile) phone reception at home tho.

Yeah kind of alarming to consider how basically everything is reliant on it. That's fine, until it goes away. I'm curious to hear about the sleep too! Maybe you're like elephant man and will just sleep upright forever now.

Is this an activity that elderly people do much? It might seem patronising getting them to do it in nursing homes, but also highly beneficial.

Interesting re: doodling too. I was a chronic doodler, my concentration is appalling these days though.

I haven't trialled it yet. Most older adults have limited interests unfortunately, that is why i am wondering if adult colouring in might occupy them. They want something to do they can achieve

It was weird. I went to Coles. I think they're running on a generator -- they had emergency lighting on in store so it was all dull. They had emptied out the freezers, they had trolleys and trolley full of juice and stuff they were obviously chucking out. Sad. Feels like a post apocalyptic world. Haha.

They had his massive light in the car park running on its own generator. Someone was standing there with their phone plugged into the side of it haha.

No one has even started to try to fix the power line in our street. They're saying it could be 'well into' next week now.

The bounty doesn't appeal to me I have to say. I love shredded sticky coconut and in ice cream form I don't think it will do it justice.

Haha yes dr delcan, what is your opinion?

Go for it. Unless you have diabetes

Is it insensitive to be slightly jealous of this? I love being in places when they're lit differently to how they normally are. It's always such a strange and exciting experience, and it really makes you think about the importance of lighting. Also, I've always wanted to experience the apocalypse so anything resembling it sounds like fun to me!

Oh gosh! I can imagine it's quite upsetting for many people, has anyone around you been health wise affected from this? I heard there is health warnings about the water causing pollution and the elderly are the most affected
