It simply is. She has a particularly creepy way of speaking that can even seem terrifying. I actually discussed this once before you joined, long before I ever considered that Tina Arena might be classed as relevant to someone somewhere.

Tina Arena will always be relevant to me!

But this is the first time I have heard her speaking voice described as terrifying. I always thought she had a normal speaking voice. But I think my definition of normal is probably different to your definition of normal.

Haha some people take what is said online so seriously. Threatening your job? Wow - reminds me of a few years back on a site I was on having a disagreement with someone. They actually knew my name, looked up my phone number and called my husband asking him if he knew what I was saying online haha. He didn't give a crap of course and told them they probably deserved it but still was over the top feeling like they had to take it that far.

I have had my job threatened 3 times now, just this year alone!! And if I say something someone doesn't like I always get the standard "some nurse you are..."

I once had a stalker target me relentlessly for about 4 months because a single opinion of mine hurt his feelings. I would wake up with posts all over the forum tagging me with "cunt" "slut" "junkie" "slapper" and I have to say, his relentless abuse was exhausting. Thankfully it seems admin have given him a permaban.

My power is out and they are saying it could be until later in the week to get power back. Approx 75k houses and businesses without power on the coast.

A tree fell on the lines across the road and broke a couple of power poles.

No reception on my mobile (virgin mobile), Telstra Internet on iPad is intermittent.

My internet is being too slow to quote.

But haha thanks @shadow2 -- I ended up sleeping in the bed even though it was upright! Surprisingly I had a good sleep. I forgot to wear my Fitbit. Would have been interesting to see if sleep was better or worse. They're now saying power might not be back until the weekend at least so I might have a few more nights like that. Haha.


And yeah sorry @Trala. Still got no reception on phone. No idea when reception will be back. I'm on my iPad which has a data only sim and the net on this thing is super slow and intermittent.


Only 2% on my iPad battery so I'm going to try to charge my iPad in my car now (as a very wise forumer reminded me I could do )

I feel like I'm in some post apocalyptic world. With my limited communication to this forum. Facebook won't even load for me. This forum loads easier than Facebook. So you guys will probs get my whinging over the next few days. Haha.

Yep total jerks! They gave her a cab charge, but all the overtime was for free. Time for a new job I feel.

I must admit I did laugh at @bleachy_dude's expense too. Not at all the wild weather and lack of power of course, just that damn bed, so funny.

As an aside, I'm jealous of your bed bleachy. I wanted to buy a similar sounding one from this hotel I once stayed at (they had new ones for sale) but I didn't and I often regret it.
