Considering you are not any of the three minority groups I have mentioned you really do not have any idea what it feels like to be called these names for something that you are born with and cannot help.

I remember being younger and hearing the word poofta used constantly around me by adults when growing up. It was used casually like any other word. I suppose you are lucky you seemed to not have had to hang around with anyone who used those words. But then again would you have even been aware and/or taken offence of the word being used since you are not in said minority group?

I am glad your nephew can use the word ass burgers with pride. For others it's not so easy.

South Park has a lot to answer for with that episode. Most of the general public will now think it's acceptable to use that word. I feel for the kids who don't have a voice who will get bullied and name called in school every day with that word. They won't all be able to think and brush off words like your nephew.

By the way my problem was never that Reepbot could not get a "jail free out of card" for having Aspergers. I agree that he did a silly thing and he has to deal with the consequences of his actions. My point was about the offensive word you used.

And perhaps there should be some kind of understanding even a little bit about why he operates the way he does. The thing is no Aspergers person is the same as the next one. This is what I have come across in my experience. Is your nephew the only person you know who has Aspergers? They may have heaps of the same characteristics which is called "Aspergers" but each person deals and see things a bit differently. It's like any group I guess they are not going to be one stereotype and completely the same. Just because you know one person with Aspergers doesn't mean you know how all of them work.

I'm lucky not to hang with anyone who uses bad words? You must have missed that time in the forum that went for 4 months where I was called a junkie/cunt/slut/slapper and my gay friends were called weak poofter/faggots. Again I don't need to be a black man to know the word nigger can be hurtful. I don't need to be a gay man to know the word poofter can be hurtful. And for that matter, I don't need to be an Aspergerus suffer to understand the word Assburgers could be seen as hurtful, which coincidentally is why I apologised, over and over and fucking over again.

I admitted I said the wrong thing, I have apologised 6 separate times in 4 separate posts. As I said before. What more do you want? Seriously, Lucas, what more?

I was just replying to some of the points you made to me in your reply.

I accept your apology and I have actually noticed that you have apologised numeorous times. I wasn't asking for an apology from you for using that word. I never asked for one. That's not what this is about.

My numerous points and replies to you here have been trying to explain a little about Aspergers and why that word may hurt vulnerable people who are already have a hard time without name calling regarding something you are born with. Your nephew might be able to cope but there are lots of people who can't. The world needs to be a bit more understanding towards others. As a nurse I thought you would have a bit more compassion.

You don't seem to understand that was my intent in here.

It's alright to have an opinion but time and time again when you are posting your opinion on these forums in multiple threads you come across that your view is the only view and dismiss and belittle anyone who dares to have a different point of view to you. One example is you took a dig at Delcan on Twitter because they had a different opinion to you on the comments people make in the Housemate antics thread and rubbed it in because Tully agreed with you.

Part of the reason why you are finding that all of this is making you feel frustrated and crazy is because you are unaware of how your actions affect others.

It's a blind spot. What I am saying you can't comprehend. You don't think there is any problem. I suspect you live with the attitude "this is me, fuck the haters, I am a proud opinionated woman". There is nothing wrong with being proud of who you are and your opinions. I think everyone needs to have somewhat a positive attitude like that but it's when you start insulting and dismissing others is the problem. You make others feel worthless and isolated.

There's nothing wrong with a healthy ego but if you start thinking you are above everyone else and the other human beings in the world are ignorant little people you have a problem.

I've noticed that you have been becoming more and more aggressive around here the past few months since the middle of BB's last season.

Just one word...... @Trala has apologised numerous times for that one word, @reepbot has apologised for his words , everyone has their own opinion and that's great, thank god we don't agree on the same things or else we would be a very boring lot. @Trala and @Lucas have both raise valid points,since the initial argument but prob time to turn the page and move on....now kiss and make up!! Everyone has different posting styles, i don't think anyone is wrong here, just different opinions:).

You're right. It's time to move on. We will just keep going around and around in circles. I don't have anything left to say. I think I have made my thoughts known as best as I can and I should (and will) move on from this.

I'm sorry to everyone who had to witness all of this ugliness this weekend.

Back to @reepbot, if you could create a TV show what would it's plot be? And what would the names of the main characters be? Would it be a long running series?
