What does everyone think of these boots... I like them, but am a cheap skate and don't want to pay $90 for them... having said that I can not find ANYTHING similar out there that is cheaper....

I think they are OK, not really my personal style, but look practical and would suit Jeans etc.

Do you have any of those clearance stores near you? Sometimes you can get some really good quality ones at great prices!

There is a direct shoe warehouse in c town, I had a look at their website and the was nothing that was as good as this pair. Hopefully tomorrow when I go to try the shoes on I can have a good hard look at them and judge them to see if they quality is better than say a $30 pair from like Rubi shoes or Payless.... I feel like betts have good quality stuff.

I think I bought a pair of shoes one time from Betts. Do they sell male shoes? If they were the pair I'm thinking of, they were comfortable and long lasting.

Not as comfortable as my crocs tho. :p

I'd dump Foxtel and only have Netflix if you have a decent internet connection.

Even if you had STAN, Presto and Netflix you're looking at like $35/mo (if you take tv + movies option with Presto). Which I think is cheaper than Foxtel?

I don't watch sport though, so for me, between the networks free catch up sites (ABC iView, SBS on Demand, Plus7, 9 Catch Up, 9Jump In and tenplay) plus Netflix and I also have Hulu plus (so I can watch current US seasons) it gives me basically everything I need / want.

Oh, free month nice. Can you watch movies and tv shows on tv or does it have to be on the computer? I don't know about giving up Foxtel, I still want to watch Game of Thrones, walking dead etc, but Foxtel is so pricey[DOUBLEPOST=1427189708][/DOUBLEPOST]

On their website there is a "for Him" section, so they must sell men's shoes.

Oh and @shadow2 the foxtell vs netfilx thing really depends on what you watch. Like netflix is great for movies and binging TV shows that you may of missed out on while they were airing, but currently beside the netflix original stuff they don't really have new content. I say do the free trial and see if you like it and if there is enough content on there that you are interested in...Also I have a chrome cast while lets you watch Neflix on the tv.

If you buy a Chromecast (around $40/$50ish) you can send it to your tv.
Even better is Apple TV which is around $100ish - comes with a remote makes it easy to watch.

I've got a Mac mini which is basically a full computer (albeit in a small box) and I have attached it to the TV and use all the catch up sites along with Netflix and Hulu on the TV controlled with a wireless mouse and keyboard.

To watch Hulu you need to do a workaround to trick it into thinking you are in US.[DOUBLEPOST=1427190001][/DOUBLEPOST]HBO are going to release a Netflix-like app to subscribe to, so GOT etc can be streamed.

If I could join a club, it would be a club for Tina Arena fans, or maybe even Agatha Christie fans. That would be good. Always nice to join a club. To feel wanted. To feel welcome.
