David Appreciation Thread

Can someone PM me a summary of what happened in the Priya thread? I have no interest in reading that thread and going through 100s of posts (where the problem ones were probably deleted anyway) to find out but it seems pretty bad.

I think the whole Ask Prisus thread has been deleted. I would like to read them all. I have no idea too who was pro her and who was pro David. There was a bit of crossover which confuses me. I was always pro David but grudgingly appreciated aspects of Priya :)
Yes, a summary would be good.

There's nothing I really want to see. Jersey Boys was the last thing. I'd rather go for a drink and a meal.

I'll be seeing the final Hobbit, Interstellar, Birdman, Foxcatcher, and The Imitation Game. Oh, and probably Paddington. Kids movies for the win! So many movies, so little time. Short review from my movie night - Guardians of the Galaxy was pretty bad. It couldn't even be saved by the shirtless guy and a talking raccoon.

Movies are way too expensive, I can't wait for Netflix to come to Australia in March.
I agree about movies being too expensive, but do you realise that you can already get Netflix... If you use a VPN you can use the American version and I'm almost positive that the Australia version will have a lot less content than the US one.

Anyone here who does have Netflix Marco Polo drops in a few days.... I CAN'T WAIT!

Yep! I have Netflix. Recently hubby set it all up. Though I haven't had the pleasure of using it yet.

It really is amazing... I've watched the Tudours... Almost finished The Borgias(US Showtime) and have recently started watching Borgia (Europe)
I have to say that the US version of the Borgias pales in comparison to the European one. There is T&A in both of them if you are into that kind of thing.... but for me the EU version is so much better at telling the Borgia story.....

I do realise that there are ways to get Netflix here in Australia. But I think you are being very negative if you think that the Australian netflix will have less content than the American one. I would rather wait and see before I make that judgement call.

Oh, wow.

I don't think I am being negative.. If you look at the content that the UK version has it is less than the US and in Australia Foxtel + other content providers have a lot of deals to secure the rights to plenty of movies.... I guess we will see....

Your post just came across as being negative, but I may have have misread it. Your reasoning as to why the Australian Netflix will probably have less content than the American one makes sense. I just hope that you are wrong about the less content stuff.
