I am an hour away from finishing my four month stint on nights. My next early is on Monday and am doing 1130-2000 for two days and two lates this week. Do your earlies start at 0700?Good morning OT nutjobs!
Time to get back into the swing of working earlies when all I really want to do is lay!

Same here. I cover all of the shifts 0700-1530, 0930-1800, 1130-2000, 1430-2300 and 2230-0700Yeah they sure do!
07:00 - 15:30
We only do the morning, afternoon and night rotation. There are a couple of short shift options for AIN's. But RN's and EN's do flat 8 hour shifts.
In some departments I've worked in I'd do 9.5 which was a four day week. In switch give me the 8 hours any day. As the department reliever I don't do Monday - Friday, I'm all over the place. Some places I have worked do a short shift of 6 hours, If Im there i'd rather be doing the 8

I heard it's the natural progression of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Is that at all accurate? I need a new show to watch!
I am supervising exams all day and 8mins in I'm bored as fwark. ZZZzzZzzz.
Expect me to lurk BBB all day lol
I seek solace knowing that there are others going through the same type of pain lol.My other half had to do that yesterday. Today he's going to be supervising some lego robotics stuff.![]()
Kinda. Just go on the basis of keeping it concise and simple.. People tend to waffle on and potential employers get bored and stop reading. Is anybody here super dooper good at writing cover letters? It's NGO so just a cover letter, not selection criteria.

The day just goes stupidly slow
Last year i didnt put a tree up or any decorations, but this year @Trala has inspired me to at least buy a table top xmas tree, and some tinsel. I like christmas, but I think the meaning is lost... And i dont mean that in a religious sense, more its a time for reflection.Unfortunately I didn't. I couldn't even find any colour angel that I could try to dodgy up with some blue paint! I went to 15+ stores and all they had - if anything at all - were star tree toppers. I'm honestly wondering if they even make angels anymore! I have our normal angel that used to be my grandmother's but there's no way I'm messing with it and apparently she's unacceptable this year. As it stands now, my son cracked it because apparently "everyone" has a blue angel?! and my husband cracked it because the lights were a tangled mess as they are every year. So at the moment our tree is completely bare and everyone went to bed cranky haha. Ho ho ho!!
I haven't caught up with the thread yet but did you put a tree up yet? Or are you one of the wise ones who have realised it's pure insanity and are giving it a miss?
I think Melb finishes a week after. I work in an English language school so our terms are completely different -_- the exam some of our students are currently doing is a UK based English proficiency test.. I feel sorry for them hahaLOL That' pretty much what he said too.
Does Melbourne finish up on the 12th as well?
