I was on both (plus some others I think) after some pretty serious surgery, and I had a lengthy conversation with a lovely old Italian man in the hospital bed beside me. We spoke of the weather and his family, and his childhood memories of playing in fields, it was lovely.

We both spoke fluent Italian and I felt a strong bond with this man. I asked the nurse about him the next morning when I noticed his empty bed. Turns out, there was never an Italian man in the room, it was all in my head. Ha!

They said they heard me speaking Italian words, yet I don't know any, I'm not Italian and have never spoken that language before. Very trippy! And kinda cool.

You know, I never get any nominations for the Speccys and no one ever says anything about me in their thank you posts and here I was thinking I'm a pretty memorable poster.
