Yeah, you can like them and quote them, I think it's just that he gets a little button saying "content ignored" or something when your posts come up. He can click it and see what you've written if he chooses to

I'm guessing, I've never used it.

I am neither a troll nor did i ever post in a appreciation thread from a housemate i don´t like. Just to clear that up.
