Sadly my girlfriend is allergic, so I probably shouldn't. But I just loved this cat so much, I was going to go see him again today but it's too hot. Maybe it's best I don't see him again though.
Aww that's a shame. Pity you couldn't do a try before you buy. My brother was always allergic to cats but his partner recently got a short haired one and he is not allergic to it at all! They don't let the cat in their bedroom and they are training it to not get on the lounge ( wishing them luck with that one).

B L E A C H Y !!!!!!!

Please help me work out how to put my music collection from my motherfucking iphone to my motherfucking computer before I go motherfucking bonkers!!

This is because you have a new laptop?

Do you still have the old laptop? Best option to to migrate your library.

Instructions here: http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT4527

The short version of all that is basically to backup the library and content onto an external hdd and then put them on your new laptop.

Yes it is a shame! I should work out which one I love more and which will give me most happiness long term, kind of sad to think I may never own a cat again. If only it wasn't a living thing I would totally take the gamble and see how it went. I don't know the extent of her allergies, nor does she really, but I guess it's too big a risk to just hope she won't be allergic.

Haha is it even possible to train a cat not to go on furniture? Or in fact to not do anything that they want to do.

Haha yeah they'll have no luck at all, closed door is all cats understand, everything else is fair game. Mine have the manners to look remorseful when caught somewhere that is off-limits, but they'll still try it again.

She can always take medz to stop the allergy symptoms!

See this is why I love cats, they really don't give a damn!

Oh just like antihistamines or is there something else? I have made the suggestion of daily drugs, it may be an option even if it seems extreme.

My car air con is broken. I thought I was going to pass out driving for 15mins.

Oh no I would die. Like, possibly literally.
Same, the heat gives me sunstroke type headaches - AC to the max or I don't go out on hot days... I dunno why I live in Qld, I hate the heat - perhaps I should move to the US of A which is now a suburb of the Arctic....

Yeah. I drive. 2000 model commodore so it's a bit old now and I'm not sure it worth fixing the air con :-(
I'm SO not into cars and don't have any desire to spend lots of money on cars. So I want to drive car for as long as it will live. Haha. It's in perfect working order except for the air con.

In much better news... I'm home in the air con now and eating these little pieces of magic I found in Aldi.

For me, aircon would be a very high priority in a car, especially on days like today.

I'm a bit the opposite with my car, I was just having this convo yesterday how I want a new car despite mine working (mostly) fine, and I was advised to drive it until it completely conks out. Which is probably actually good advice.

And what are those?! I must try them! Do you recommend them?

Oh and whilst on this topic of frozen confectionary has anyone heard of zip pops? I may buy some. It allows you to make your own zooper doopers, you can put just about anything in them. I'm pretty content with zoopers for now, but maybe I should consider making some with puréed fruit or something for a healthier option.

My brother gets a new car every couple of years and is constantly haranguing me to follow his lead. No thanks. Lol!

Yeah these are so good. I'm in so much of a coconut mood at the moment.

It's like coconut ice cream with real bits of coconut served in a coconut shell. Delicious. Highly recommend. They're quite sweet though. So I've only managed to eat a quarter at a sitting.

They sell "pop grips" - 3 for $9 plus shipping.

How much were the ebay ones?

Might be worth a try.

I freeze apple juice poppers and then eat them with a spoon!

Honestly there's literally no need to buy a new car while you have a working one. I do quite desperately want a Jeep Wrangler though and was surprised to see that they are "only" $35k.

Oh they sound good. I am a big coconut fan and, once again much like you, really gravitating a lot towards coconut currently. Luckily it seems to be super trendy.

Maybe it being too sweet is a good thing as it will force me to show some self control for once.

Antihistamines tend to work for me, but you can definitely go to the doctor or whatever and get specific medication to battle cat allergies if it's really bad. It's probably a good idea to get an allergy test in general anyway, just to be safe. It may be extreme, but hey, relationships are all about compromising, right? ;)

Oh I don't remember, so many ice block investments to be made!

I remember doing the frozen poppers at uni, they were so good! I must try this again.

Wow I honestly never knew this! I would take medication for her, she must do it for me. Or, you know, if she likes.

I bought a brand new Daihatsu Charade in 2006 which was a very small car (shopping trolley) for $12K & caned it - I went all over Qld, outback etc - in 2013 it had about 140,000 km's on it & could hardly move it was stuffed... Luckily a huge hail storm hit & there was a plethora of hail damaged cars so I got a new Ford Focus with all the trimmings including a dozen hail dents for $13K + the shopping trolley as the trade in... I hate spending $$$ on cars (money pits) so every 7 or so years, I'm 'happy'-ish to dosh out 13 or 14K at the most (for a new car) ...

I'm definitely getting those coconut ice creams --- I used to love Weiss bars - they're yummy but a bit expensive these days....
