David Appreciation Thread

All of David Fans really loved having his sisters @BigSisterEm and @MelKen ,best friend Lisa @Lady Jane , and his old friend @Ginger Meggs or workmate @gm11 posting in here, plus @bbobsever who auditioned with David, really gave us more insights to David which were never shown on the show. Even @Timdormer and @Estelle.Landy had posted their support in the forums:)

I was a fan of David's since launch night, and I'm so lucky he made this years show so much more enjoyable for me.
I'm sure David will have lots of fun stuff happening this week before BB finishes up for the season, plus I will be following David's adventures outside the house on twitter and instagram during the off season.

I hope to see David posting here soon, I wonder what his username will be Slayvid, Shavid or Strategy Dave? giggle.gif

We all knew this moment would come but I just didn't think it would be tonight.
The mood in the green room tonight was great and I was just feeling really good about how everything was going to play out. As soon as his name was read out I felt dead inside.
@Lady Jane and I were ushered into back into the green room before David came out on stage and we were able to watch his interview with Sonia.
Naturally I was crying - because that's what I do - but it was a mix of happy and sad tears. Happy, because I knew I was about to see my brother and give him a MASSIV hug and sad because I really thought he's be there in the final week and more importantly, I'd get to go to the after party!
David gave so much to this season and there wasn't one moment that I wanted him to retract a comment or a reaction.

David is going to embark on a whirlwind of commitments over the next few days but as soon as is humanely possible we'll get him on here.

One of my most favourite things about this season has been you guys. I've hated this thread at times (I think because you guys move so quickly and I have to spend hours trawling through it!) but I really do love seeing ' you have a new alert' - it's like a mini facebook friend request over and over :)
I don't know what happens in the off season but I hope to regularly stop by and see you all.

btw - this is not goodbye, I'm just being sentimental.

OK now I am tearing up.... I get really emotional when I'm tired... Go be with your brother....:biggrin:

And yes getting alerts on here is kind of addictive. :p

This is strange. It's like I am writing a eulogy in a way, but in my mind I am thinking Zoolander so then I am a "Eugoogalizer"and that is purely because I didn't think his exit from the house WOULD affect me or others so much. FAN or not, it's clear David MADE this season and purely by being himself. I reckon he's the one who's had the most SHIT thrown his way and he just took it on the chin and smiled his way though it even though the shit thrown at him was AT his expense. THAT my friends, is a strong human being.

He was funny, unique and blunt when he HAD to be and yes, it's clear there were many arsehats in the house. he took it all in stride.

I know I am just one of the many who will miss him in the house.

I wish him all the luck in the world for the wild ride he's about to mount.

Just to finish.. David.. you are a FUCKING LEGEND!

Now, I'm all teared up and have yet to drive the kid to school! Thank you and @MelKen and @Lady Jane for participating in the ups and downs of the house and forums with us. I know David is going to be crazy busy but please let him know he made the entire show for many of us. He has a worldwide fan club, and he did becomes a sex symbol in his own right; without any shenanigans by BB!
