I don't get it and it isn't fun to watch or play.

I have been FORCED to play before and it's just me swinging the THING like a baseball bat and SHRIEKING. It's not a good look. Plus I look tragic in the helmet.

Only time your bits been in a box too I bet :P

My bloody husband's home now (he travels a LOT) so he's all WATCHY WATCHY and I can't argue, as he tolerates Big Brother when I view. I have to say, I like one day matches when NZ plays Orstralia... But basically not for the actual cricket - more the 8 hour drinking session it gives you excuse to do.

Hahah YASS! The first and only time I actually went to watch a game at the SCG I got absolutely SMASHED.

It's one of my favourite sports to play, but there isn't much opportunity for girls to play club cricket, at least not when I was little. I used to dominate when we played in PE, no one could ever get me out. But I ado agree, if I didn't understand the rules it would be pretty bad to watch.

I'm more of a TENNIS/SWIMMING kind of guy. Oh and volleyball.
I'm gutted. My nephew is v.good at tennis, so I optimistically enrolled my daughters (aged 7 & 8) in tennis camp, on the days I work over school holidays. But no. It appears my nephew received his nationally ranked talent from his father, not my family's genes. Still. My girls love it.
