David Appreciation Thread

Just where does kooky David come from? Well, the answer is England. The 31-year-old radiographer moved with his family to Sydney at age seven. But it wasn’t all smooth sailing for David and his siblings.

David says his relatively strict parents were adamant about teaching their children life lessons from a young age.

“We never got spoilt,” he says. “We all had to go and get jobs at age 14.

“As a family, we never had any holidays away. A day at the beach was pretty much all we could afford.”

I'm so sick of this imaginary girl Chloe.

I think this is as bad as what they did to Gemma, except at least her humiliation was quick instead of so dragged out.


Poor David.


Chloe may not exist, but there's an entire 234 pages filled with girls really liking him and seeing him as a 'heart throb' or a likeable guy...which apparently douche bags like Lawson and Sam think he wouldn't be.

Those jealous bitches.
 
You know BB showing David talking to Penny about her being a mother one day and coming across 'creepy' to most viewers, and now bringing 'Chloe' into the house probably trying to set him up for a fall. I think the producers want to ridicule David, so hopefully he comes out looking good.

I think it's 2 double evictions next week? so there must be at least 5 HM's up for eviction and I think a few like Leo,Penny, Travis and Lina could slip through to the final 4, if they aren't nominated this week.
BB producers try and manipulate who they want evicted and to win...so hopefully Davids fans see through it, and he gets to the final week

It was mentioned in the daily thread the other day...maybe while Travis was reading out the rules of the remote control task, that if any HM messes up, they get a nomination point..did anyone pick up on that?

How you think Travis will nominated now after hearing Sports Bets odd, do you think he likes Skye too much and wants her in the final 4?
Aisha supposedly said to Sonia that it was Travis,Skye and Ryan as top 3 ..where it's actually Skye,Ryan and David with Travis 4th. Was Aisha just giving Travis a confidence boost, and will it work in his or David's favour? could it make David fans want to vote for him more, if think he's at risk of going home, after getting this far? (same with Priya)

Talking about remote controls - mine had a mind of its own and fast-forwarded through a lot of when Travis was talking (oops ;)) and I missed this info lol

I picked up on it. If there is actually ANY follow through on it, Priya should get a nom point from BB for not being in complete pause mode with her husband in the diary room, and so should Ryan for supposedly leaning in when the woman was kissing him.

I have no clue how Travis will vote but that info would make him assume he's more popular than he is. Just a guess, but he may base his votes next time around ON that outside info. A lot will ride on who's evicted tonight.

Crap ... just had a thought... I wonder IF Skye and Ryan are NOT as safe (as to the actual vote count lat night).. and that info was more for the public than for him?

lol there's a lot of them who'd be up. Penny for freaking out when Sonia's feet were in her face lol (eww), David laughed when the robbers picked up Ned like they were going to carry him out, Travis getting a boner when the girls were touching him (kidding!), just about all of them I think!

It really does seem like the producers are doing their utmost to make him a running joke, but every time it's backfired and made the people who do like him, like him even more. I think when the big reveal comes he will take it in his stride. Whether Skye will take it the same way when she discovers her and Leo are not the "Pride Of The Gold Coast" will be more indicative of her huge ego. That's why she bought it hook line and sinker. I suspect that David knows something is "up" and is just running with it, you can't do much else.

Imagine if Aisha had told Travis he wasn't in the top three Sportsbet odds. It was a lie to boost his confidence. An intelligent person wouldn't have wasted that question and would have worked it out for themselves given they announced a clear top four a week or so back which Travis wasn't even in. Smart questions would have been "who do you think I should nominate?" or "name the players flying under the radar" or "which housemates should I not trust".
