I have the gimp mask, and while I don't keep a knife in my locker at work, I could access a sharp from the surgical ward if you think that would help me in my quest to get his clothes off quicker.

My question wasn't about material possessions vs the caring of a loved one, as unfortunately in life BOTH come and go. It was why the need (in yourself) for close proximity to family?
