I'll fess up that I'm first and foremost a Skye fan. Like I said I don't mind David as long as he's instrumental in ensuring that Priya is turfed out of the show, something that I've always suspected he would end up doing.

But these turn of events that have him clashing with a much younger female hm, taking into consideration that voters are predominatly female teenies who see a lot of themselvs in Skye, is unlikely to end well for Dave.

You can have any opinion of Skye that you like but the fact remains she's loved by people who anoint BB winners and any housemate who wants to come after Skye in such a blatant obnoxious manner is putting her/him self in a very precarious position.

And i'm just saying, don't underestimate the voting power of the ones who dislike Skye. I don't think David or Priya appeal to the same demographic as Skye, yet, they've not only been saved week after week, they've been most saved, a few times. So, I agree, clearly people are voting for Skye, but clearly people are voting for David. And, I'd much prefer him being honest, than afraid to speak for fear of the wrath of Skye's fans.

Apart of me does wish this Skye thing would go away though. Not because I disagree with David about her but more because I wish he would just rise above it. I mean so far he's done pretty good and I was actually pleased with what he had to say about Skye in the diary room. The thing I don't like about Skye is she does act like a child in arguments. She laughs and dismisses other people when its not going her way. She did it in her argument with Lawson and when she was talking with Leo. At least when David has put his foot in his mouth or whatever he was willing to talk it out maturely and apologise.

I remember back when Skye comforted Dave, I liked her back then. I think she felt sorry for him more than anything. But David has found a voice in the house now and she doesn't like it and mostly because it goes against her. She doesn't like anyone or anything that can potentially make her look bad. I mean she's back peddling so bad with Leo now.. how quick she was to forget her crush and try and make things up with Leo. And I get the whole she's young blah blah argument, but I would assume its different in the BB house. If you have an attraction to someone is it really wise to go to the girls and tell them you have an attraction when you've been hooking up with another guy and just been classified as a couple (I mean they were, I know they werent BF/GF but they were still seen as a couple).

Sorry end Skye rant. She just annoys me up the wall. She reminds me of High school girls who want their way all the time and try and put down anyone they dont think is worthy of their time.

Yeah, but Lina also said it's nothing he's doing, people gravitate towards him. Those people do exist in life, and if he's simply being himself, it's not his fault people gravitate towards him. It cracks me up, because there is not a single bit of footage of Ryan campaigning for friends. He's not saying, "hey guys, come talk to me." He's talked to everyone and they react how they do. Lina is really mad at the people following Ryan. As soon as she acknowledged there was nothing Ryan was doing, her opinion on the issue no longer mattered. We've heard from ex housemates how awesome Ryan is, and I'm failing to he how that is a problem for him.

Thing is though, I think he is rising above it. When speaking to BB he said it was doing his head in but he was trying to remain civil with her. Likewise after he had to smash the DVD player with the video instead of letting it get into anything he straight away apologised and gave her a hug and a kiss. If I were him I have lost it and snapped at the nasty little brat's attitude already. He's shown remarkable patience IMO considering she's been going at him for so long now.

Oh my goodness I agree with all of this so much. Im not even going to get started right now, its too late and Im too tired lol, but the main thing that's got to me about Skye I think is that she reminds me soooo much of these girls that used to bully me and give me so much crap at school and stuff. And so without turning it on myself (not my intention! sorry!) just the idea that someone is that attitude not only spreads it but gets away with it. Urrggggghhhh. Back onto topic though, I do think all in all David's handling it well though. The fact I personally do not think he has stooped to her level (ie listening at the bottom of the stairs, being a total peanut about it to other people although he did vent a bit to the boys earlier) is indicative he is doing pretty well. I have forgotten what I was going to say tbh lol. I like David. David is a good apple :thumbsup:

It's not just David that feels the way about Skye, a lot of the HM's, Evictees and other HM's fans can see that bratty side to her.
Some people are saying she's been showing her true colours these past couple of weeks but it's more that the BB Edits are now showing her true colours, although we got to see little snippets most weeks.
Even Aisha said Skye plays up to the cameras...
