Is sCat one of the worst housemates ever?

I just thought it was because she was crazy.

Could be. But also she could just be one of those people who this sort of thing is just a game to.
"ooh he's got a gf, lets see if I can crack that" - woot, 1 point to me!!!
"okay lets go for the 'i love you'.." - woot that's gotta be worth 3 points!!
"wow, i'm really good at this"
"haha he's in the shower crying, lol"
"oops better do some fake tears coz like, i'm on tv and stuff"
"you won't have to face anything alone Lawson.... lol, yeah right.."
"oh he looks like he wants me to give him sympathy, better twist this conversation around so it's all about me instead"

Those people are out there. It's all a game to them to try and manipulate people and their feelings, for no other reason than their own ego and/or amusement... they're not always 'crazy', they're just incapable of understanding why their behaviour is wrong, and are completely devoid of empathy for those they hurt.

I'm completely devoid of empathy too.

I guess we'll see what Cat is really like after she and Lawson leave the Big Brother house. But why did she choose Lawson? Why not Dion or Sam? Could she sense that Lawson was weak?

Bingo! That's what I was trying to get at.

I actually dislike Angelina Jolie for the Brad Pitt grab, and he was married. However did not think "cheating" thought she wanted a new shiny toy. All this psychological unravelling of Cat's actions is hilarious, it is up to Lawson to decide if he wants to stay faithful, Cat has no ties on the outside world

Yep. She likely saw him as a bit nerdy, socially awkward and the easiest one to prey on. These sorts of people hardly ever prey on the confident/popular/good looking ones. It's like the lone Hyena out for a feed, it will seek out and attack the weaker Buffalo that's on the fringe of the herd. Never will it dive right into the middle where the strongest are running.

If that is true it may be the reason why you have a hard time seeing what the majority of the viewers are seeing with the whole Clawson situation, you think Lawsons heart is in it with Cat but obviously he's wanting to run miles.

That makes sense. Do you think her sister was lying when she said to TV week that Lawson is usually the type of guy that Cat goes for in the outside world?

He's not doing a very good job of running away.

Like many have said before me, he was too nice a guy when she first started coming onto him, then it went too far.

There will also be many other factors running through his head IE. what will the public think if i ditch Cat etc etc.

It's common for someone to be stuck in a spot and not know how to get out without hurting everyones feelings involved. Someone with no empathy would find it easy to run away from Cat, someone full of empathy may not want to destroy her feelings on national TV,that could possibly hurt his own position in the house.

Lawson doesn't want to run away. He likes being with Cat because she makes him feel good. Also Lawson has said that he would choose Cat over Candice, so it is clear that he doesn't want to run away.

I don't think that's true. Someone completely devoid of empathy wouldn't watch Big Brother; they wouldn't be able to relate to anyone on there. The only reason to watch would be for the social experiment aspect of it, to see what happens when you put a bunch of strangers in a house. But now while typing this I'm thinking about how it seems like the only thing you're interested in is watching what happens with Clawson... so now I'm not sure...

I wasn't gonna use the age card here, but it's probably quite relevant re the above statement. I reckon that due to Lawsons age, and the fact that he has been in a relationship with the same girl for 3 or 5 years (reports seem to be conflicting now) I will bet that he has never had any experience in how to deal with a woman like Cat. I wouldn't think he's ever been in this situation before and he probably has no idea what to do or how to get out of it ( even if that's what he wanted).

Cat's the older woman, she's a bit more worldly, relationship-wise she's seen a lot and done a lot too. Her statement about Lawson not having to face things alone when he gets out really reeked of "I'll protect you, I will take control, you don't have to do anything because I will do it all" - that, for the inexperienced Lawson, was probably a comforting thing to hear.

So basically, he isn't physically running away because Cat is offering him refuge and comfort from the storm that he created.

Just my thoughts of course, and mostly I'm just thinking out loud, who knows if any of this is even close, lol :D

He said that because Candice is long gone and he doesn't want to look like the biggest moron on BBAU2015, he secretly wants to evict himself from the house to get away from Cat, or he will have a HUGE burden lifted off his back if she gets evicted this week.

Like he said to Leo. He spends time with Cat, but when he's away from Cat he starts to feel guilty from spending so much time with her, so he goes back to Cat because she is the only one in the house that can make him feel better. I think Lawson does have strong feelings for Cat. The battle for him is between doing what he wants and doing what he knows is right.[DOUBLEPOST=1414289295][/DOUBLEPOST]
No. He's male. And he has a pulse.

Well I guess her sister knows Cat better than us ever will.

He said that because he prefers Cat over Candice. The only reason he wants to evict himself is to face the criticism of the public.
