If the conversation between Skye and Ryan had been one on one it would have possibly been more palatable to me. However, Ryan was standing there looking alternately at Skye and toward his supporters whilst speaking down to her. To her credit Skye stood her ground even though she got no support from cowardly Cat who had to put in a word in partial support of Ryan.
I completely understand Skye's frustration and inability to answer Ryan because it was not so much what he said as to what he was implying and insinuating.
No one was surprised at Ryan and his gang going into the room afterwards and laughing about the situation. Skye could see that coming too.
I have to wonder at the people that don't see this for what it is. I guess we see ourselves in these people to some extent.

I think its pretty disgusting that a parent would make life any more difficult for their child, than it might already be. He was SO emotional in that letter, I hope his parents saw it and are there at the time he comes out of the house and greet him and his partner with open arms. Once again, life is too short, for letting petty stuff like this spoil a family relationship.

He is bullying her, because he sees her as a threat to him winning. Little does Teflon know, that he has been invisible for 5 weeks, then when he shows himself, he doesnt come across as a nice person. Its also a contradiction, he talks on one hand about protecting his sisters, who I presume are female, so I could see why he would flare up at the off the cuff remark by Travis. But on the other hand, he is arguing and trying to belittle another female. It makes him FAKE or FLAKY to me.

i believe when the avatars moved from one forum to another the animated ones gained a .jpg.gif file extension and its that extra .jpg in the file name that is stuffing them up (as well as some of them being over the 50kbs max file size)

Now I have watched the entire episode... it took a while before I could come back here to post afterwards, because I painted my nails at the same time lol.

Surely this is the last week that we put up with Sandra. She really does nothing for the house at all.

Skye seems like a strong woman in a lot of ways, but her coping mechanisms when she's directly under verbal attack (from more than one person at a time), fall little short. And who can blame her? That describes a lot of people. And that being said... she held her own in that conversation with Ryan and Sandra a little better than she thinks she did.

Watching Ryan and Sandra behave the way they do towards her, while she struggles to defend herself, is a bit like watching a couple of sociopaths torture a small animal.

I've never wished I was a housemate more... I could absolutely mop the floor with Ryan and Sandra in a conversation like that

oh please - she was sitting when they walked up and started to talk - where was he to sit? on the ground? when he later went into the bedroom he didn't stand over her - he lay across the bed to talk to her

I don't believe he was deliberately trying to intimidate Skye - but he WAS trying to get his point across and her little girl dumb act was not flying with him and others because of what they'd just seen of her in DR

her tactic of "I don't understaaaaaand" would be annoying in the extreme - having to repeat your point over and over and getting the same "I don't understaaaaand" back each time would not ease the tension

you're making out that Skye is a little petal and not able to stick up for herself - she turned on the waterworks in that old time-honoured way of getting sympathy because she didn't like that they were on to her shenanigans

I'm over people labelling HM's as psychopaths, bullies, cruel etc etc over a disagreement - and it was a discussion/disagreement NOT a verbal attack ...

such emotive language gets tossed about here just because people are pro one HM over another - and the one-eye'd stans are the worst at it[DOUBLEPOST=1413521823][/DOUBLEPOST]personally think Skye herself would scoff and laugh at the very idea that Ryan could intimidate her

Wasn't there something posted by his brother that his parents did support him and were proud of him but the posts kept getting deleted?

yes but who knows how far the support went - they might have supported him but not made his partner welcome which seems to be the crux of the matter from his letter last night. I think he works in family business(?) so if they didn't support him surely he wouldn't be working there? I may be wrong in that ...

what would have intimidated me was the raised eyebrows and stare ... but not him standing up when I was sitting down right from the start ... its not like he manipulated that ...
and no you didn't outrightly SAY she was a delicate little petal - you intimated it - she's a LOT stronger than you're giving her credit for.
