The appeal about David is that he is a genuine person not a show pony, dumb, slut or follower.

Dave is keeping it REAL all day long. He doesn't like to gossip either, hence why there is so little shown of him.

For me David is interesting because he is strong for standing his ground against the haters. He is also intelligent and caring. But he also represents the misfits in society. As I am one , I totally get him. He doesn't need to perform like a seal for me to be able to connect with him. He's being incredibly authentic and human, which is boring, but also what BB is about.
