Episode Day 33 (10/10/2014) Daily Show

Cat and Sandra appeared to be close for a while there, especially giggling about their crushes on the taken guys, but there seems to be divide the past week or so, and Sandra suspects that Cat gave her nomination points with her power.

It's kind of like the Aisha and Lawson divide in that you suddenly think 'Wait. They don't get along? When did that happen?'.

All right, maybe five points is too much. Then again, any points would worry me.

The worst part of it, is a double standard. For 4+ weeks they had virtually been given open slather to talk about nominations, without penalty. It should have been nipped in the bud in the first week and after a couple of warnings, they should have been told that any further breaches carries a srtike, 3 strikes and you are out. I thought the tree house, where the Head of House can invite 2 other people to talk about nominations and strategy, was the only legal place.

I thought it was farcical when BB mentioned that Skye had had THIRTY SEVEN microphone violations. In previous series, they have taken the fact that they already have a strike, on board and some of them have changed their behaviour, it puts more pressure on them. Isnt the show all about putting them out of their comfort zones? You dont get $200-$250.000 for being on holiday. That ISN'T reality, they are supposed to be entertaining us.

C3PO, R2D2, SERI.... Not sure about the other 9 though.

Seriously, robots are also used to validate/ monitor websites etc... They are usually not sinister in their purpose.

So I have big brother repeats on while in cleaning (1:30am)
They just had the bit where Travis says "meloncopy" hahah

It's not double standards.

Cat told Lawson that she didn't nominate Sandra. The others haven't said who they have nominated.

It does sound like from one of Lisa's interviews that they've had some warnings from BB about nominations talk, and they're only supposed to talk about it in The Treehouse on Friday nights, if invited by the HOH, but she says there ways around it. I guess hinting who you want to nominate, and bagging out someone puts a target on their back but doesn't prove you actually nominated them.. where Cat's was after nominations and stated she didn't nominate Sandra.

Also Skye had been in trouble before about not wearing her microphone, and when Lisa was paired with her, was punished as well...

How do you know? Do you have inside knowledge on all the footage we have missed out on?

It was shown, they were in the laundry.

I saw the laundry chat between Cat and Lawson. What I was saying, is that you dont know who and how often the OTHER housemates have discussed nominations with and about. I can remember Sam, Sandra and Ryan openly talking about them and Priya and Jason have chats to the same effect. In fact they are all at it, thats why it was a double standard, just to make Cat the scapegoat. Obviously to draw more attention to the programme. I dont care about BB doing that, but it should be a level playing field. When are they going to wake up to the fact that they are giving Teflon (Ryan) a free run.

in the interview Lisa did with Luke Blundell she said they ARE getting pulled up by BB over nominations talk - its just not being shown to us ... and that the only place its allowed is when HOH takes 2 people to the treehouse ... so once again its just that we don't get shown this stuff ... only the crapola like Jason licking his pillow (sorry but I was warming to him because of the whole Manuel act during the task but now I'm off him again ... he's too sneaky and icky ... just something about him I'm not liking ...I think its the constant sideways glances "are you looking at me? see me? see me? look over here - I'm trying to be entertaining ... look at me!"

and also by cutting them under water.
I wash onions that I've cut and peeled under water and I don't get watery eyes.

It was funny to watch them talk with their tongues out and see Aisha's eyes water to the point that we could see just how much eye make-up she does wear.

Just for you @MADONNA

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Why is there no episode on Sunday ?? Isn't there one every Sunday ? Why's this week different

Just checked the Foxtel Guide, there is no Big Brother next Sunday either with the movie 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' airing instead.

Thanks. I havent listened to any of those interviews, but I still think that with 37 breaches, we should have seen Skye penalised, a long time before Cat. If BB was handing out strikes, like the OLD Big Brother, it adds that extra bit of edge, with them being more aware of what they say and do and who they talk to. Tim last year, was probably the exception, I dont think getting 3 strikes would have bothered him, but we all know that BB would never have let that happen.

Web "robots" are automated programs that scour the web for different purposes. All the major search engines (Google, Bing, etc.) have one to maintain their search indexes. Robots can also be used for other purposes, like HTML validation as @LoveBB mentioned. It is normal for forums such as these to have at least a few robots visit.

OK, thanks for the explanation. As long as its normal. I thought Big Brother was watching me :-).

I'm going to post this here, as it's not worth a new thread, and they were seen a fair bit during this episode... can anyone tell me what brand those white, unusually shaped coffee mugs are? I think they're pretty cool and I'd like to get a couple of them.

In this episode, a few housemates were standing around the kitchen bench top drinking out of them... I think it was Skye, Travis and Aisha
