Yeah I think the funny thing is masking a lot. Even when he cracks a joke it's always at someone else's expense so although he's still saying cutting things, the delivery is saving him at the moment.

I feel like you can be funny by teasing people so long as they're in on the joke. Ryan just bitches about people but does it humorously to take the edge off. ...hallmark of passive aggression.

aaahhh I couldn't wait for tonight's episode as it was then I watched that promo & now I really can't wait! So it appears Sam has said/done something to cause Aisha some tears & Priya is regretful for not stepping in. Then Super Trav flies in to defend Aisha. Should be interesting.

It is probably because of the task. Aisha was being quite demanding yesterday when the guests were eating. The staff were complaining about her attitude.
Having said that I don't like Sam or Ryan very much. They both seem very nasty. Tonight's noms should be very interesting.

yeah wasn't Lawson and Ryan (or Sam?) saying that Aisha should be more grateful during the hotel task, especially after Lawson giving her the $20k...it sounds like The Ultimate Pair winners aren't as close anymore...

I also think that David is probably the only one that could take that kind of joke at his expense. Ryan only giving him 1 chocolate whilst the rest get 2 or more, Ryan seating everybody except for him etc. Don't think Ryan is genuinely being nasty to David. I think it's more out of humour. If I'm wrong then that's totally messed up and Ryan is an a$$hole!
After Lawless did the nasty on his GF with sCat he's chasing sympathy anywhere he can get it... even if its someone elses drama, he'll cry a river for them too...

Maybe, but I think Ryan has always had David in his sights. I don't disagree with you and I kind of like shady Ryan but when it comes to David (full disclosure: he and Priya are my FAVES) I think there's more to it than just good natured joking around.

Aisha needs to pull her head in. First she cries about a hypothetical scenario, then she gets 20,000 smackaroonies just HANDED to her, and now she's possibly crying about something someone had said during a task? Really what aggravates me the most is not that she feels upset, but that her crying gives a platform for Travis to be an over-protective twat.
