Anyone remember BBUS 8 winner Dick Donato and when he left suddenly the first week in BB13 people were like wtf is going on because he never properly explained why? (None of this will make sense for those who didn't watch obviously)

Turns out he left because he found out in the house he's HIV positive. He thinks he got it from unprotected sex with a stripper. Bloody hell. All the rumours and speculation at the time about why he left and no one came close to getting it right.

I quickly read something online about that yesterday but didn't really know who he was...

Him and his daughter went on BBUS 8 and he came first, she came second. Then they were brought back in BBUS 13 along with a few other old HMs to play alongside new ones but in the first week he left. He said it had something to do with bad news about a family or friend which people immediately started to call BS on because his daughter stayed in the house and he was usually so sarcastic with his replies. The whole thing was just really strange but I guess it makes sense now why.

@Mrs Butterface I've only watched a couple of episodes of BBUS and it just so happens the one he left was one of them. I don't really have anything to add, beyond that it is pretty shithouse for him but interesting aside anyway
