The Bachelor 2 (2014)

Slimy creep in reality show faux-romance NON SHOCK.
I feel sorry for the girl, and the viewers who invested their time in it thinking it was real (I watched some of it but never got the feeling it was genuine) but other than that... what else can you expect from a scenario where someone is given a buffet of attractive people and the entitlement to choose between them like they are his own personal harem? It's no surprise that it rarely works out, or that a network is willing to mislead viewers in pursuit of ratings.

Well he seemed to want everything his way. I actually thought Blake was slimy from the get go.
Yeah I was hoping he'd actually choose Jess in the end rather than Lisa or Sam. They were actually genuinely nice girls but we saw nothing of genuine character from Blake.

Well when Sam was talking with his mother and aunt she said that they hadn't sorted out yet the living/moving situation. Seeing how close she is to her family I have doubts whether she would have wanted to make a move over to Perth and despite him saying that he would be happy to move at one point maybe he decided that wasn't for him either.
Who knows. I feel bad for her though :(
In one of the Sydney newspapers during the week they reported Blake had been looking at places to live in Sydney.

From watching the series I didn't think he had a real 'spark' with anyone and I think he's just an opportunist trying to get fame.

Proposing to someone is a big deal and if you really love someone, you would move to be with them. It's not like Sam lives in the middle of nowhere either.

Sure, this is true.

But marriages in the real world have a massive fail percentage as well.

Whilst the show is superficial in the way we date people (scheduled and extravagant dates, elimination process, wait 2 over months to see your fiance etc...) It still has raw emotions and real people, and this is what drew a lot of us to the show, to see how it would all pan out.

It seems Blake has found someone else or gone back to his ex. In my opinion it says a lot about his integrity as a man more than the integrity of the show.

So far its 1-1 (Anna and Tim are still together)

it's unfair the way they film it. Why drag it out so long? The girls are stuck in the house and there is only one or two dates a week which seems so friggen stupid. I would have thought that they would be having dates more often than that...it's a tv show, edited, filmed way before it goes to air, so why can't they hurry along the process a little/lot?

It's also pretty clear that once they get to meet families etc. there has been a long time between drinks, they all say how it's been so long etc. so it's probably a couple of weeks or months between the final rose ceremony and the home dates....then more time between the home dates and the trip to SA as there were more comments on how long it's been. It's just stupid. Of course peoples lives go on and they meet other people and forge new relationships. And why don't the bachelor and his new fiancé go home together and spend time....oh that's right because they need more time to run the damn show and no one can be seen together or it might give away the ending. Surely they can have people editing the episodes as they are filming so it is less time that everyone is in hiding and forming new attachments to other people....just stupid.

Why would they need a break? It's only the 2nd season in a row for Aus. And just like in the US, not every couple stays together. Just like some don't in everyday situations.
Possibly all they need is a little more tact with their casting.
But as for a hiatus, not at all.

"Reality ruined our romance" The Bachelor's Blake and Sam tell all!

After Sam accepted Blake’s proposal at the final rose ceremony, his feelings for the blonde beauty changed and he called off the engagement, leaving her utterly heartbroken. And the question on everyone’s lips is what went wrong?
Woman’s Day can now reveal that despite their whirlwind romance, the reality was far from the happily ever after they wanted.

In our exclusive interview after calling off the engagement just days before the final episode aired, Blake revealed it was a “combination of factors.”

“Being back in reality, in a long-distance relationship, having unfiltered contact and really getting to know each other more,” the real estate auctioneer confessed.

“It highlighted that Sam is someone I absolutely love and care for but not in the way of a romantic partner. I realised there was a change over the six weeks – the chemistry changed.

“It didn’t feel like what I expected or hoped for. I had an idea of how we’d be together and I went on my gut instinct. I had fears and doubts like anyone and unfortunately they were realised.”

Though a clearly heartbroken Sam admits she was in complete "shock" when Blake called it quits after just six weeks.

“I burst in to tears to be honest,” the 25-year-old revealed.

“I’m so numb at the moment. Just trying to process it all.

“I was completely blindsided. At the end of the day I think he was too confused emotionally to know what he wanted.

Regarding the above, I want Carrie or Womans day to ask .....
If they were "intimate" after the proposal and the cameras were off? You'd assume they were together for a night or two in South Africa at the very least, many a lot longer.

Now Blake says he doesn't see Sam as a romantic partner, I can only assume that means he doesn't like what he has experienced in bed with her. After all he loves everything else about her, talking, cuddling, kissing, her family etc...All this stuff about chemistry changing I don't know, he never gave it a chance (for them to be properly together)

Blakes background seems sleazier by the day, that article above is a bit more than topless waiter to me. Very crude and sleaze. He no doubt has has lots of flings, and as Dr Phil says "the best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour" or something like that O_O . Did he expect Sam to be a sex goddess as well? that to me seems to be why he broke up with her and of course he ain't gonna say all this is he.

Im gutted for Sam, she didn't deserve this at all. The others Lisa, Louise, Zoe all dodged a bullet. I must say I have a new found respect for Jessica, she played her cards perfectly and played Blake perfectly. She wanted Blake to prove to her that he is the real deal in the real world rather than rush into marriage from 5-6 camera dates.

I suppose it can be said that despite the humiliation, Sam too dodged a bullet. I thought he was slimey from the getgo TBH...the type of guy who makes you want to throw up in your mouth a little. Just eww.

did anyone else find it a bit much when blake asked jessica to confess her feelings for him then not give her a rose straight after? what was the point of asking this if you dont like the answer of someone that loves you? it was humiliating. getting engaged when he was obviously not ready. his words mean nothing. allegedly dumping his girlfriend to get on the show. seriously, there must of been better applicants for the show than him or channel 10 already a ratings dumpster fire trying hard to stay relevant.

has anyone read the article in nw about blake and another woman? hoping the project uploads interview on website so I can watch from nz
