Episode Day 18 (25/09/2014) Daily Show

I'm guessing the messages to/from the public will be fake to trick the HM's for some reason? Surely it's not real?

pretty sure Sam and Lawson will make up these messages

this seems like a fun power......ive stepped into an alternate reality.....

At least they're not breaking the "no contact with the outside world" rule :)

Great task/power play! Not only does it show us housemates at both ends of the task (BB isn't injecting his own Q's), but it gives the power housemate (Lawson in this case) a real opportunity to get an insight into their fellow housemates that could be used strategically later.

Having two housemates in the power room (Lawson/Sam), and another two in diary room (David/Jason) made it feel like this was designed before the pairs twist was disbanded but it was still great, all the same.

Shame this is on GO! tonight...the one night the episode is actually GOOD and like a proper BB episode tonight, but it'll probably get low ratings.

!@#$#!(*!@()#*!@#)!*@!#)@

SO. GOOD.

Where did this come from? Did the producers fend off Channel Nine executives for one episode?

I know :(. Please Nine, repeat what you did tonight! (even if it wasn't much - for a change!)

---

When you get through the rest of the thread you may want to edit this. Particularly to whom you are sending your thanks ;)

True - but - @channel9 & @bbau9 need to hear that we ALL want more of what we saw tonight, so please do go tweet them!!

I never implied that the thanks was for what they were doing ;). Hopefully they get the idea from feedback tonight that natural and orderly storylines equals good viewing! And that stunts and a single contrived storyline that is out of order does not (boring & fake).

It was nice to see priya, it's like they are trying to edit her out on the other days. After this episode, I've decided I do like cat and want her to stay. I think her need to resolve things will kind of be entertaining. I think she really doesn't mean any malice in it, but that's the entertaining part, she innocently causes arguments unintentionally. She has good insight at times and think she feels lost a bit because I really think she is more mature minded compared to the others. I'm rambling sorry haha

I ramble on a bit too :) You raise some good points. I do think she's probably more mature than the others - and probably a little less outgoing too. But I did like seeing her want to resolve thing. That's good. And the unintentional arguments are good too :) I hope we see more and she survives the evictions.

LMAO Dion's face when Priya was doing her routine, not impressed at all.

I have a feeling there might be Good vs Evil aka. Skye and Aisha vs Katie and Lisa.

There were a lot of criticisms towards some female housemates, that I think wouldn't be as harsh if it were male housemates being loud, forthright and gossipy about other housemates.

Women tend to be more bitchy to each other, than men do.

I'm glad that chat with Skye and Cat was clear up with Katie because when I watched that video on Sunday with them talking in the bathroom, it put me off Cat a bit with her attitude.

Skye telling Cat in the bathroom that she's heard from others, that Cat said to be honest she can't see herself hanging out with any of the HM's when BB is finished, so 'they' don't see the point in bonding with her because it's a waste of time? Cat is worried who said it, and needs to correct it because they don't want to be friends with her now

I thought the Lawson and Sam prank was really funny, especially with the "compliments" that David recieved. I think this episode strengthened Lawson's position as the winner of big brother 2014.

Great improvement over yesterday where the majority of that episode took obviously took place with Gemma still present.

I actually want Katie to stay now. I think she is selfish and bratty and conceited and believes her shit smells of potpourri and I LOVE it. It's apparent that she is being genuine thereby making her genuinely awful and just the antagonist the house needs. She is doing what Gemma attempted to do, but it actually works for Katie because it isn't forced and OTT like Gemma's convoluted, mustache twirling freakshow absurdity. She is at the epicenter of most confrontations and I don't want to lose that yet.

Btw, Cat isn't slick. She totally instigated that argument with Katie and Skye. She is more perceptive and clever than the rest of the house on average (Travis and bless her Skye bring the IQ way down) so she could predict how things with Skye and Katie would play out. I like a good stirred but not when the spoon tries to sustain a pristine, innocent identity. The coquettish, reserved, wilting schoolgirl act repels me in general, but isn't she 31? Cut the Baby Jane crap.

That ape Travis thrashing about and sharing his bananas with Aisha can go. Despite all his tryhardness, he remains vacuous. I have no investment in him whatsoever. He's not funny. He's not charming. Looks wise, he's unremarkable. He has nothing of significance to say, but he speaks the loudest. He literally brings nothing to the table except for maybe homoeroticism. The only way I would even contemplate saving him is if he bottomed for that twitchy strung out twink Ryan for the lulz.

Still loving Skye and Priya. They're the only two who stand out to me. Skye might be my favorite.

I want Cat to stay if she continues to stir the pot amongst the other housemates.

I always watch it first and just read through the comments after or the next day.
I've totally converted to posting live - it was so much fun tonight and I managed to stay updated most of the time!
Because I'm in sa I read this thread as I'm watching it. So while you guys are on page 50 of the thread in still reading 16

But it's annoying cos I want to comment with you guys not half an hour later[DOUBLEPOST=1411658096][/DOUBLEPOST]

He probably heard her say curry then started daydreaming of food

BB will make sure the HOH is shared around.

They should give it to Skye and make sure they include lots of things that take more than 1, 2 and 3 to work out. She is already using 2 arms and a leg to count with.

Due to Footy show and the final of Amazing Race I just finished watching BB Not too bad a few laughs and a little about the housemates. Ryan said three words I hope they don't tell David about the gag because his believing it sparked him up and great to see him happy A fun episode and a major bad one for Katie she was targeted by BB there rightly or wrongly but I am sure we will see more negative stuff on the other noms. Cat and Priya got my save votes Lets hope for more episodes like tonight almost back to what we are used to And I think this is a show that should stay on Go Goodnight all and Go Swans

She must be deluded enough, to think that he can win it.
I would have thought she learned a lesson from last years fiasco, as far as her choice in men is involved, but some people never learn.

Women Like Jade never learn Assholes get the girls and the whole loving the bad boy Then they whole moaning that they get treated bad by them over it girls like Jade and others need to see that there are decent men out there who don't play sport and also know how to treat women well. Aisha is heading the same way already dated a rugby player. Nope they never learn and I have little time or sympathy for the likes of them

I re-watched the episode.

I now think Lawson is a turd. (I was thinking he was a turd before hand, as he likes Travis)

IMO: He was really taking the piss out of David & so was Sam.

I am wondering if they asked Jason any questions.

But after they were told about how David was excited that he was 'popular' with females 'outside' of the house, Sam realised that it boosted his conference & he didn't want David to find out that it was a 'prank'.

Yeah, I know, I over analyse things.

Travis is DESPISED on this forum and Priya is venerated as a messiah.

Seems to me that arseholes, bitches, jerks etc get called out for their shit behaviour. Nothing wrong with that.

Why is Lawson a turd?
