The way I look at it is this, you either stay true to yourself or you make attempts to getting people to like you.Again, I agree, she doesn't help herself very much. Looking at group dynamics that might be a reaction to the rejection that she is experiencing, and that I imagine she has experienced in real life - who knows? I think she'd be an interesting HM if given a chance.
The problem is, Gemma seems to be trying to do both. You can't make snarky comments about people, and expect them to like you. It doesn't work that way.
But if you do choose to make snarky comments, say it with no regrets, and accept the exclusion you are going to get from it.
It's unreasonable to bitch about people and then cry about people not liking you.

Thing with Gamma is that she's continuously digging her own grave with her BIZARRE antics and condescending tone toward other housemates. She's too far gone to suddenly emerge as the fun-loving life of the party she thinks she is - perhaps she is in real life? Who knows. I've never seen her say anything humourous and the constant foot-in-mouth syndrome she is an avid subscriber to just works to make her look like a bitch.
Travis has no excuse. Outside of the rubbish showmance nonsense, I don't think he has the capacity to be as calculating as Gamma thinks she is. He's just a meathead with a bad attitude and someone needs to snap him out of it (CALLING PRISUS).

It was incredible how everyone started bitching about Gemma after she left the dinner table, no one cared about her feelings, and no one seemed to want to go and check if she was ok (other than Jake). She wasn't upset, obviously we know that, but none of them knew that and still didn't care. If you don't get along, fine, but have some empathy, jeez.

I hope the public eventually sees through Travis' b.s. and realise how crap his attitude is.
Nope.
As we saw tonight other HMs were calling her out for her fake bullshit crying. If they knew that - and were of course right when Gemma admitted it - what haven't we seen in the house to make them assume that right away? That's all been chopped out same as Jake apparently telling "half the HMs" how he has feelings for Lisa, etc
Can't pull the bullying card when she's the biggest troll in there. Too bad she's too stupid to understand we see all of her shit so she has no hope of winning (if she even lasts after this week).

Yes, someone should stand up against that doucheturd (Travis) and fix him the hell up. The boys are scared of him. The girls dig him. Gemma should retaliate harder next time!
Benjamin'12 would've been a good contender. He would've destroyed Travis. *sigh* If only they were in the same season...

I would not use the word bully, but there is a very obvious cool kids club in that house.....
I'm still not sure on who are the core members in it beside Travis and Katie.
Clearly David is on the outside of it and Gemma is the furthest from the centre.
Hmmm I need more in house un-edited footage to be sure on the house dynamic though.

It's an attention grab and victim mentality.
Sorry, if there's only 2 people on the outside, there is no cool club, there's just 2 people who don't get along with everyone else!!!!

Gemma shits me no end! I say she brings it on herself. I cringe watching her, she just makes it worse and worse for herself and then blames everyone else.

Its hard to find a great deal appealing about Gemma to be honest. But I will give her one thing, she says what everyone else is thinking even if she stands alone to do it.
I agree with she says what everyone else is thinking for the most part but unfortunately she does it in such a way that makes her unlikable. As others have said you can be a shit-stirrer but you gotta be likable while doing it. Unfortunately for her and us really, would love to see the pot stirred and stirred.
From what we have seen I don't think we can say there has been bullying.
The problem is, Gemma is on the outs and she really doesn't do herself any favors. Now here is the thing, how much of her behavior, her snide comments, her over reactions is actually real or fake? We don't know. She can not play the game she is playing, it is not going to work.
From the get go she was mean, wasn't it the first daily show she was saying shit to skye, 'I was telling everyone how you're about as shallow as a paddling pool.'
I think some of the reactions to her are now abrasive because she isn't being genuine. She always has had a guard up and been snarky, but now she's playing around to try and cope with the situation. He pretending to get upset is an attempt to try and take control of a situation she has no control in. I do feel sorry for her, but she can't handle the situation and is putting people more off side. The context of being up for eviction is very important here. Everyone thinks she is going to go. She thinks she is going to go. How she acts and how people act to her is informed by this.
I think on some base level the reaction to her fake performances, even if not being seen as such. Housemates are reaction to something strange and it is why they are being more curt to her in their reactions. They themselves can't understand it and so can not be understanding. They can't understand it because it makes no sense as what is real and what is not is arbitrary. There may be some actual caring advice in being tough to her, because they are telling her to survive in the house and the situation she isn't going about it at all correctly. This is what would put it apart from bulling. It may be mean but they are telling her what to do in order to fit into the artificial environment they are in.
It's also worth noting, she has decided or knew she wouldn't / doesn't fit in. So her reaction is to fit in less to try and save it. It's a poorly thought out strategy because she is not the kind of person that can pull it off. Or probably any strategy. She really isn't coping and it's quite sad, I feel sorry for her but not in a way that I would want her to stay in the house.
From the get go she came in with the wrong attitude and it's just compounded and gotten worse. I think she misjudged, got in a bad position and then can't deal with it. She's probably a lovely person but went in there with some game plan which doesn't work. The straight away insulting Skye was probably a way to try and claw a position higher on the social order and the people in the house don't work like that.
Trav though, I think he is getting more arrogant and it is open season because he knows she's not liked. There for it's group acceptance to not be nice and he thinks she's going which is more excuses to stop pretending.

From what we have seen Gemma is being manipulative. In the least to most challenge she wanted to be at the top of the best kisser line up even after they told her they wanted people up there who had kissed while in the house. She had her tantrum then later told Jake she would get sympathy votes. Next, she tells Jake she is stirring the pot by speaking out and in comes Priya asking her why she is complaining about her to others instead of to her face when she thought they were friends. Afterwards Gemma laughs it off.
Tonight we watched her fake cry and run away from the dinner table.
I don't think it is bullying if the victim is manipulating the situation and people to get that effect.
I don't think I have ever seen a BB where the housemate is so open in revealing every step of their strategy.
