Tim Dormer back in the House

I love Tim. Thought he was great last year. Ratings must be going south at the rate of knots for BB to be putting Tim into the house after just 2 weeks (think that says it all about this season of BB - the spectra of 2008 lives on). Hopefully he will be able to shake things up but with this group of HM's I'm not hoping for much. Just have to wait and see.
 
I guess their ratings for Fridays can be explained by Friday Night Footy!! Judging by tonight's show, maybe I should of watched that instead :"D
 
well, listening to tim on goldman podcast, and reading some of things he has said here, its pretty obvious that tim 'gets it'. im pretty happy happy that he has a favourable opinion of skye and priya, and really wants to pull davo up from the mud.
at this point i am thinking i need to write gemma off as a loss and hope that tim will rally 'the misfits' and perhaps remind the entire house that you dont really need to pander to the other housemates if youre in the good books of the aussie punters :)
 
Nah, hate it.

Quite clear that either BB has picked the wrong housemates, have too high expectations of what's considered entertaining or are just out of ideas.

HELL YEAH BABY!!! I've already sent msgs to my US friends who ditched this season as soon as they found out there were no live feeds. Let's get it THE fuck on Sunday night!!

I haven't listened to the podcast yet... But I hope he is there long enough to rally the misfits. He is one of the few people who could go in and truly change the game.

How about this - the HM's pick who they want to go out of the bottom 2 but it's up to Tim to have the final say. So say it's Gemma and Jake and the HM's pick Gemma who would Tim pick - his mate Jake or Gemma someone who annoys the HM's.

It really is just disgusting.

The fact that Endemol has let channel Nine have so much control over the format is ludicrous, I am actually going to be sending them an email with how disappointed I am. I think we should all let our feelings known to them, because they have really f**ked up here.
-Letting Nine have No live feeds
-The fact its online presence has been diminished to a catch-up site
-Social media being run by a guy for Nine who lives in India and uses the auto queue tweet function and the lack of ANY live updates
-The soap opera style editing with diary room narration
-Showing us housemates being hungry for a whole 90 minutes then, Nominations show housemates are nominating each other for reasons/topics/discussions that were NEVER shown.
-The lack of LIVE shows that are actually live
-The EP being given the spotlight like he's the ultimate friend of all of the housemates.

That's just a few points.

Nine I am furious and I will probably be dropping out of watching now. The last two years it happened about 4 weeks out from the finale, and this year you have managed to make me tune out in just under two weeks.

I agree with everything you said. I've been a loyal Big Brother viewer since it's first season and this year is the first one that I'm struggling to connect with and am not enjoying at all.

As for social media, Channel Nine were advertising on LinkedIn for casual social media producers for the series to work rotating shifts, instead they should have paid for someone to write/update the live feeds. Getting rid of the live feeds is the stupidest thing they have done along with the pairs. Just go back to the original format and stop making it complicated.
