Benjamin HM 2012 - Officially joins Behind Big Brother.

Tim was at the Arias the year before he entered the house - he hung out with Michael, Josh, Bradley and Stacey. We all were thrilled to meet him - Zoe had told us she believed Bondi Jesus was coming in as an intruder. As Tim and her knew each other on the outside because they had made it far through auditions.

Can I just ask one question Ben. Something that annoyed me through your season was how no one liked Estelle and it felt like to us it was everyone against Estelle. She was the lone wolf so to speak, but then Ava came into the house and Estelle finally had someone to connect with, you threw a tanty about her "hogging Ava and not giving everyone else a chance" why did you have such an issue with Estelle finally finding a friend in the house?

It was about damage control, I just had a conversation with Angie in the bathroom after 24 hrs of people complaining about the nature of Ava and Estelle's friendship. You have to understand - a small issue in the house is a massive conundrum for the housemates. I felt I was the only one who would complain about someone and then voice it to their face. A majority of people just would sit in corners complaining. Every single person who was making fun of the fact Estelle had an issue with a simple fact: she was simply just agreeing with everything Ava said. She was lying. Estelle had spent a few week saying she didn't eat/like certain food but when Ava arrived Estelle completely changed her beliefs on food and most moral stances. It had made Angie believe something needed to be done. That Estelle was needing to be sat down. Actually they were all going to have a house meeting to discuss her behaviour - asking for an explanation from Estelle. I had told Angie I would bring it up with Estelle in a less confrontational manner. Ava had arrived and no one had a chance to talk with her because Estelle was blocking them. It was also heavily felt Estelle would go home that week and we were all concerned if Ava had put all her eggs in one basket - it would be hard for her the following week. Josh had said on a number of occasions - every time I want some time with Ava, Estelle would be there to make life difficult. The fact of the matter is Estelle lied to Ava about their relationship - for reasons unknown. Had she cared for Ava she may have not have thrown herself at Josh the moment Ava was evicted. To be fare on the telling of this particular story - Ava and Estelle are complete strangers on the outside world and have little in common. Had their bond been a true and honest friendship I don't think anyone would have cared. PLUS they would still be friends now.

Every single HM was making fun of a fact - Estelle she was simply just agreeing with everything Ava said.

Sorry sometimes I don't proof read.

@Benjamin2012HM you have my respect for explaining yourself here and it basically makes sense to me.

That being said though, I couldn't help but read your last few posts and wonder what it would have been like if you came out of the house saying this and Gretel was still the host. Hah.

Thanks for answering Ben. I guess it really is hard to get the complete picture from the little things we see in the daily shows.

It is completely understandable. I think back to watching Big Brother before being a housemate - I felt I knew everything.... and what I didn't ACTUALLY know, I felt like I was pretty good at assuming. I would only have one piece of the puzzle and claim 'whole heart-idly' I knew the full picture. Which WASN'T always right. TV is funny that way.

I have learnt a lot after my time on Big Brother. My partner and I seem to have a theory; the people you like on TV end up being disappointing and not very nice in real life and the ones you hated are people you end up getting along with. I am sure there is a psychological explanation for this but I am not a psychologist, I just simply notice the patterns.

not to be crass:

The order was George, Josh, Michael, Bradley, Ryan, and Sam (not confirmed: Ray - always in bathers and very carefully placed towels. and I am not one to gloat, so I have left myself off this list.)

Not Sam STRUGGLING.

Not BRADLEY slaying Ryan and Sam.

Not GEORGE. Yes, just NOT GEORGE.

It's obvious RAYSUS was hiding a secret, that his RAINBOW SERPENT did INDEED convince Eve to eat the apple.

It says so in Prisus' autobiography, in the Book of Genesis, which is Chapter 1 I believe.

98 % of the house complained about one person. I do believe the audience knew every HM had issues with Estelle, so when you watched the show I am sure you questioned the sanity of us all. Because apart from quirky behavior - nothing was ever shown. Do you feel something was missing? Or do you honestly believe we were all just a pack of arseholes. Estelle disappeared with no response to what the audience believed was massive bullying - so things just aren't adding up.
I knew something wasn`t quite right in the House but in the environment you were all in, I really did feel for Estelle. It really did affect me, that year, I just wanted somebody to be there for her, not go running into Childish School Play Ground type situations and talk and laugh about her. I still like, admire Estelle. When the last 3 were there, you Estelle and Layla, I thought even then how you were hurtful, not including her. No matter what the situation, I could never not make someone feel welcome, part of the threesome. It should have been special for all of you. I felt nearly as strongly about Tahan, who I will say is the most beautiful person to ever go in the Big Brother House. Seemed to be the one chosen to be left out, talked about. Tahan was honest, direct and behaved like a Lady in the house, I might add. I am now hoping David isn`t the next target this year. I like that he is honest, direct and tough if girls don`t want to hear they aren`t so perfect. He is a man`s man. Ben, you won the money, good on you but I do believe it`s best leaving Estelle alone now, outside the house. You don`t like her? Fine. Move forward and let her be.

I MISS UNCUT SO MUCH!
@Benjamin2012HM

Did it ever cross your minds that the poor girl felt so alone that she needed somebody to cling to? I can`t imagine what it would be like to be singled out as the one to laugh at, talked about. You all had your little circle of friendships, worked out who was welcome, who wasn`t. I found the relationship between Ava and Josh more sickening. She was always hanging off him oh and Layla and her George then the other fella (Sam?) who came in after seemed like the better bloke for her to cling to. Perhaps if you all worried about all that you were all doing wrong as well and gave Estelle a break, you`d not have been so narrow minded in not wanting anyone to like her. Oh and we all know why Michael started pretending to like her. Public wasn`t voting her out, Josh was gone, he knew he had to do something to turn people away from her.

@Jacqueline That's was the biggest mistake in BB history........IMO Michael would have won if he hadn't of been shady n hooking up with Estelle.
This is the exact moment I checked out from BB12.

I just thought to myself, wait what? Michael is hooking up with Estelle? This is getting a bit too much for me.... I should probably start studying for exams...

Seems like I missed a lot.
