wooo hooo - got him in the 2nd sweepstakes and I am Happy! He is a strong one

He is a work of art.
Pity they keep thrashing the Oscar Pistorious verdict ads all throughout BB so I have an unhealthy association with the 2.

Only thing they have in common is a missing leg and a blade.OP is a arrogant SOB who thinks he is better than everyone else
but Sam comes across as down to earth, that kangaroo comment to the reporters was hilarious

I think he's my favourite of the blokes for now, could be a potential winner if he plays his 'cards' right.

Life's going swimmingly for 26-year-old professional athlete Sam.
Melbourne-based Sam will go to any length to impress a lady, claiming epic heroics like saving old ladies from burning buildings and narrowly escaping shark attacks! Just don’t let him loose near a journalist, or there’ll be international incidents.
But he can’t keep a straight face when it comes to training – he hates it! Sam instead attributes his success to a vicious competitive streak, and it’s this drive which propels him forward – in the pool and in life.
On pulling the other one:
I'm banned from speaking to the American media because I told one of the journalists that my leg was bitten off by a kangaroo when I was young. And he actually put it in his newspaper – printed it – and I got into a lot of trouble because of that.
On representing Australia at the Paralympics:
When you get to wear the green and gold it does say something different about you. It really does show you all the sacrifices and hard work you've been doing – in the pool especially – it's all paid off when you get to represent the country.
On expecting the unexpected:
That's the best thing about sport: you don't know what's going to happen. I'm prepared for whatever sport has to throw at me for successes and losses. In my career I’ve succeeded just as much as I’ve failed.
On his unique condition:
I was born without my right femur – which is the biggest bone in the body – just due to unknown circumstances. There was no real medical explanation given as to why I was born without my femur; I just like to say that my parents didn't know how to have sex properly and didn't finish the job.
On whether he’d take the chance to be born with two legs:
My answer's always “no”. It’s what I’ve grown up with; it's what I know. For me, having two legs would be like for you having one leg.
On the relentless pursuit of the LOLs:
Everything I do is pretty much based around humour. Rather than get angry or aggravated at something, I always see … try to find the funny things in the situation. Especially having one leg, I saw that as an opportunity to pulling pranks and just getting myself into a lot of trouble.
On learning the dating game:
I’m lucky enough to have a close group of girlfriends as well, and you do learn a lot from them. They tell you what to do and what not to do, so I don't really consider myself too much of a ladies’ man.
On setting an example:
By no means do I consider myself a role model by any standards. I just like doing my sport, going out there and meeting new people and just enjoying whatever it has to bring.
On defining himself:
I strongly believe I’d be the same person even if I was born with two legs. Lots of people ask me, “Do you think you would have gone to the Olympics if you had have been born as an able bodied person?” My answer is, “Yeah I’d definitely be trying to.”

Hello You!I couldn't find a thread for Sam so I thought I would create one. Definitely my favourite male house mate so far. Love his personality and looks! Definitely someone who I believe will go far!
Welcome back!
