Also do you think her racially depreciating herself and her culture is helping how "socially repressed" "these people" are? No. It's making it acceptable for people to think they can do the same and that their stereotypical thinking is confirmed as correct.

I assure you I do not appreciate nor encourage racism in anyway, shape or form so please don't take it the wrong way. I was simply just identifying similarities between last years housemates and what we have seen so far of this years. If I caused any offence I sincerely apologise. :)

Look, let's not make a big thing about this. (I mean hey, I've got a docking station to get back to or something, right?)

I don't care what industry you're in, you being from a privileged, educated, white background, does not give you the right to endorse racism. Satirical otherwise. Straight up, that's how it works. Due to you not needing to overcome adversity, you owe it those who have to express sympathy.
And do you hear me condone what she said? I think it's disgusting, the Butter Chicken thing was horrible. And 100%, she's only making it acceptable for others to say similar, derogatory things. But you have to appreciate that, assuming she's spent a while in Australia/Adelaide, she's more than likely experienced a lot of subtle racism, and she's therefore been conditioned to do the same, in a "well if you can't make fun of yourself..." manner.

Anyway, yeah, we're giving Alex what he wants. I don't think anyone on here is a serious racist, and if they were I'd like to think we'd do nothing less than chastise them to the point of no return.[DOUBLEPOST=1409489730][/DOUBLEPOST]So... Priya looks cool...

Privileged white background. Oh hey I'm also part "3rd world country too". Best of err-thang, really. ;)

Glad we agree on something though re her cultural self-depreciation. I see many stand up comedians do the same shit and if you watch the link a few pages back of her standup you'll bare witness to the overused comedic lines of putting themselves down for lols... there is new material out there that hasn't been done so many damn times... it's saaa boring.

But hey. .. maybe she's funny. Maybe she's not.
