One potential way of organizing "pairs" this season could be how Big Brother Israel carried it out last season. Throw in approximately fourteen housemates, and then tell them that the last two people going in are a genuine pair and believe that this season is a season of pairs. The others are immediately paired off and told to pretend that they have preexisting relationships from the outside world. Their job becomes convincing the one true pair that they are all genuine pairs.
Though I couldn't begin to tell you how that would relate to a Noah's Ark motif. Unless that's the joke. The housemates all think it's just temporary until the end of the first week. Then, at the end of that week, they find out they're paired off for at least quite a bit longer. Or it's equally likely that the motif is simply aesthetic, and we won't see it implemented with regard to the actual housemates. Just something to look nice, but the twists won't necessarily be related to Noah's Ark.
