Ok so I'm pretty sure I know what Tully is going to Bali for - The Mulia (the hotel she is staying at) is holding an event, The Mulia Instameet, it's organised by Trish Nicol Agency the same people who organised the H&M launch.

It goes for four days (Tully is in Bali for four days) and Drew's friend (or friend's friend whatever) Lottie Hall is going to be there as well (Tully has promoted some of her dresses).

They're actually selling clothing with Minnie and Mickey Mouse on them? They better hope Disney doesnt find out :muted:
Oh I did not even think about copy right.... So the clothes that the SS are selling, where do they source them from? Direct from a "garment factory" in Bangladesh? or through a middle man?

I'm not sure... I wonder if they get some of their clothing made locally though, like maybe their playsuits? looks like rolls of fabrics?

No you can tell that is clothing, I can see seams, sleeves and what could possibly be a pocket. I haven't looked at their website to see if they list brands would suggest they are just serving as a boutique, I doubt they have their own clothing line where they create original garments, but they could easily just be buying in bulk and on selling, likely from China. This is actually pretty easy to do if you can be bothered.

as a bigger photo and a closer look does look like clothing on hangers, taken on an angle.
do you think they get some say in the designs and colours/patterns that want, and then get it made overseas?
I thought the accessories and jumpers etc were designed and made overseas but maybe they designed some outfits?

They possibly did design some outfits, I guess I'm just not giving them much credit. To get things made in Australia can be pretty costly, doing it overseas is much cheaper even when you factor in postage, and you can still have a lot of control over the design. It would be a lot easier to do this if you were physically there and a lot of burgeoning designers would base themselves in Bali or Vietnam for this very reason. I don't recall ever hearing about the SS visiting these countries. It doesn't mean they haven't, or that they haven't opted for a local option.

I'm still thinking they have just bought in bulk from various stockists. There would be a lot of overheads involved here, but with their BB backing at least their marketing is very easy so sales are probably pretty good. They are aimed at young girls as well so they don't to go for anything remotely high end which is a plus for them.

Uhh so to conclude, I have no idea but I doubt that they are involved in the designing process, but they probably have total autonomy over the buying process.

Ed has just started following The Mulia as well - maybe he is going as her date???

So sad to hear the beautiful Nicole Gillespie, passed away from #melanoma yesterday aged 32. Her legacy for an #MIAcure at @MelanomaAus will continue as two men walk Sydney-Melbourne @900kmforacure starting July 11. I walked Nicole and fellow survivor Jay Allen down the red carpet at the #2014TVweekLogies Nicole was such an inspiration to me and certainly made me realise that you just need to enjoy every single minute of every precious day. She really inspired a whole nation! May you R.I.P beautiful lady xx If you want to donate towards a cure for melanoma click on this link https://900kmforacure2014.everydayhero.com/au/team-cure #900kmforacure
