Yeah he is a deadest Miami Heat fan... He watched the first game, and all I see is a lunatic yelling at the screen spluttering that 'we had this', 'why did he have to cramp up now'... the rest was just not worth repeating. It is safe to say my hubby is not happy with air conditioning atm[DOUBLEPOST=1402066808][/DOUBLEPOST]

At least tell me he did not jump on the Lebron bandwagon? There are two Australians on the Spurs squad and the rest of them didn't feel the need to have a 90 minute television program telling the city that loved them to fuck off. Not the worlds biggest Lebron admirer, you might have guessed ;)

I believe he is a Kevin Durant fan, but yes, he also likes Lebron James as a player. If it makes you feel better, he did say that the last time they were in the finals, that spurs deserved the win

He is a great player, but a massive wanker (which is usually the way it goes for NBA guys sadly). KD actually seems like a good bloke, its weird. No issue with the Heat, just bangwagoneers (it is so a word, spellcheck) especially the Lebron bandwagon. That was an ugly spectacle. My team are in the toilet, so I support whatever Australians are left.

I would hope its over in four so you get the TV back, but given the Spurs are up, I don't imagine that leaving your husband in the best of moods.

he has always loved NBA, plus he plays basketball twice a week (anything basketball related with him), so I don't think he is a bandwagoneer (sounds so strange to say that out loud) type. I know he has a few teams he likes, Oklahoma city being one, but I'm sure the hype of Miami did coerce him in that direction too. He has the same attitude about the players as you do and funnily enough he thinks KD is a good person. Another guy he likes is the one with the long beard. cant remember his name, but yeah he likes him too

Sounds like a good guy to me. Most people follow players in the NBA more so than teams anyway. Although by the sounds of it he probably followed when Shaq was with the Heat back in 04 as well. James Harden would be the beard guy, I think. Quality player, quality beard.

I was in two minds whether to like your post. you said my hubby was a good guy, but you ended it with a quality beard. not a fan of this growing beard phase.
