Post BB - Housemate Antics 2013 - Part 2

Just watched Harry's Practice and there was a lady who took her dog to the park in a Pram.
It was because the dog had a fear of walking there, because of other dogs and being scared of them.

Once at the park, the dog ran around (out of the pram). Those little dogs can be very troublesome, I know.

There is also a really old lady in town here, that prams her dog to the park, then lets it free run. She must be around 90 - but every day, she pushes that dog to the park, to let it have a run. More control than a leash for her frail body.

So, maybe it that the Dogs in Prams are just taken to a Park, like in a car, to be let off the leash?
Ok. As a dog person-convert I'll buy that. I have two small spaniels and I am relatively strong and no lightweight but they are STRONG especially together. If however you are NOT fit and able for WHATEVER reason and yet need to walk the doggies maybe that is one of the more viable options. (Even if it looks DUMB. Oh well).

Yeah, it sure does look dumb.
When I first saw the local old lady, with the pram and her dog in it, I laughed and joked to myself about it.
Then, I got my puppy and saw her at the park. Every day, she pushed that pram and had her beast running amok.
Looked like getting some exercise for her and some vitamin D rays, as well.

I had to get a gentle leader for my dog (30kg). She pulls and pulls and still pulls, until she has a run, and then she is awesome on a normal leash.

I really do feel that that local old lady, although it looks weird, she is doing the right thing by her dog.
Fresh air, a run in the park - hell, if she can get the dog there by whatever means, she is an awesome dog owner.

I was more thinking that was a cheeky post - she might have been able to try the watches on & take a photo but would they be giving freebie watches to everyone? maybe they did though ...

re the dogs in prams .... if you were unfit/too old to walk two dogs to the park surely you'd struggle to push them in the pram? is it totally flat there?

those dogs don't look well ... or happy ...

It's great that Tully has signed up with management. I have no idea if they're a good one or not but hopefully lots of things come her way now. It's good to see something positive happening for her.
