Also superheroes in gold underpants and banana suits, custard fights, find the shirt buttons task, hair raising adventures, and don't forget the stalkers lurking in the halls behind the suit of armour.

Just ignoring the other stuff, didn't she say her boyfriend was a ski instructor? And someone they managed to afford a penthouse? What sort of ski instructor makes that sort of money? That was something that always struck me as odd.

Like I said, I'm sure she like most anyone else would prefer to find a life partner who was more financially stable than not but she has worked hard for herself and for her family. I didn't like her comment about her being more famous than anyone else on BB someday and some of her other behaviour, especially during the Crackhead Jade phase but she's not lazy and she worked her ass off from what I could piece together.

Missed that bit. That comes off less than flattering and sounds more like Tim or Tahan (not a question, just how it sounds). Whats the crackhead part about?

I have to believe the Italian EX paid the down payment and the payments while they were together. Frankly that story doesn't make sense, why pay off a car and then leave it in Italy and go home and drive a High School junker? wouldn't you sell the sports car if you were moving? needed the money? She went to live with her mom because she had no place to live and no money is my guess, then went to work as a barmaid in Ballina. She told that story to try to make herself look good but it doesn't make much sense logically.

c'mon now! TLD was stating her view on it, I don't think he meant to offend anyone. we all have information and we choose how we look at the information presented to us, he sees it differently and that's fine

But yes, Jade has pulled her weight to be noticed, good for her

So you're referring to me? I don't think I've ever even mentioned Ed's wrist before :conf: In fact my interest in Ed these days is about on par with Rohan or the SS so I think you've got the wrong person.

nope that was definitely jade, just like how she made herself sound like the superior model compared to others because she would never do what they did and apparently only model to be righteous. It wasn't just tahan and tim that made themselves better in a story.

course pay 0 auditions pay 0 spot work for 9 is recent and spotty infomercial is very recent and she seemed like she was reading cue cards (very cardboard delivery) All I see her hang out with are the Chef and Footy players, she said something in the house like "Drew is the type I usually go for but now I want to go for guys like Ed who are more established (cashed up)" [I personally don't think Ed is very established at all] Don't let reason or logic get in the way of your Jade genuflection.

I have to agree here with TLD, there are times I do think Jade told a story and she would always be the one to smell likes roses. I don't 100% believe it all. She seemed bitter about her ex and that's normal, but her side is the only side of the story we know so I cannot assume it's a 100% truth.

no it doesn't, unless she left it at her Dad's place when she visits. we all know there is more to the story of HMs that we know about, and i think the storyline is put out there for them by BB as well to add interest, it's hard to say

i do remember 2 certain raspberry's Jade gave to the other HMs, not very nice at the time. @TullyLovesDrew, we really did not like or think much of her at all

now that she is out of the house she seems to be grounded. i don't doubt she is aiming for Prince Charming, but i also think she is concentrating on herself and not on what guy she can sponge off. she does have a great work ethic, and she wants it all, but i also think she is very patient and going with the flow rather than racing too many steps ahead of herself. she has probably slowed her pace and enjoying what she has atm. she aims high, but who doesn't, it does not mean anything in the end if what she does and has is making her happy

I agree that she is trying to start a career now and that she is preferring, aiming for Rich Prince Charming. I just don't think she has a realistic view but I do give her credit for making the effort on a TV career. Hosting footy might be a good fit for her, that infomercial was a flop IMO.

Most of the people in here now were in the Live Feed thread so they'll be able to tell you better than I if it was on a regular show or the LF but Jade made a comment by the pool near the end of BB - maybe the last 3 or 4 weeks - where she said she'd be more famous than the rest of them with a snotty laugh (in reference to the cool group). It was when she was going off the rails and what I refer to as Crackhead Jade phase as most evidenced when she was in Santa's Workshop and she looked nothing like the girl she entered the house as. People were posting pics and gifs because it really was pretty astonishing, string hair, glassy eyes and all. This is also when she had a heartfelt convo with Tim - that many of us in the LF feed thread regardless of our faves admitted made us teary eyed - and then she immediately ran to Ed to go bash Tim. She went batty for a few weeks there.
