I've walked a ferret, but it felt weird.

One time when I was walking my kitty I saw someone walking a ferret, it was reassuring to not feel like a total weirdo. This was all taking place in Newtown though, it takes more than walking a pet to be considered proper weird here.

yes. strong little jaws they have, and extremely sharp claws. dogs are a lot easier when it comes to pills

Haha it was a customer's pet and she gave me a go. Ferret had a mind of its own, slippery little sucker.

I leave it to the man of the house to do it ... I like having skin left on my hands and arms ... well on all of me really!

Oh yeah, Newtown is awesome. I used to live there but have now moved next door, but I am still there all the time - I'm there right now actually. Pretty sure I don't quite fit the typical mould but oh well. And this woman with the dressed dog in a pram doesn't surprise me at all, almost all of my aforementioned friends who dress their dogs live in Newtown, and one used to take her dog everywhere in a baby carrier. Hmm I wonder if it was one of my friends who you saw...?

that is sad, the poor thing, but if it needed them then that's what has to be done

Haha - no. He's a good boy, and he's used to it now (but if I don't get my finger out of his mouth quickly enough I do know about!)

Haha I don't think so, I think she may have been homeless, she had lots of bags tied to the sides, but nice that she had a companion I guess. You have spurred me on to text my sister for another Newtown coffee date. Might see you there (and no I am not the coffee-date stalker who follows Ed).

That would be weird. Each to their own, but not my idea of a cute pet.
