@Sweetgeek @littlebear – A couple of weeks ago when this board was discussing Drew and Tully’s split you took the stance that they were both at fault and that no split can be blamed on one person alone. So why are you now attributing 100% of the praise for them remaining friends to Tully. If they were equally responsible for the state of their relationship at the time of the break-up, then they are equally responsible for the state of it now and in the future. Tully is not more or less influential depending on which scenario makes her look better on any given day.

I understand that Tully probably had to put in some effort to retain a friendship with Drew (and at the same time Tahlia) and that it probably wasn’t easy, but she can’t retain a friendship all on her own. It is a two-way street and the situation may have been just as hard for Drew. If they really are or were friends with benefits, I can’t imagine it’s easy to be intimate with someone and then watch them go back to Sydney to hang out with their ex.

Their current friendship is not solely because Tully is so wonderful, so magnanimous, and so highly thought of by all who know her. I get that neither of you particularly like Drew, but he played a part in this. Give credit where it’s due.

“I am currently working with Today and I am also in talks with a production company about my own sort of show,” Dormer told Confidential.

“They contacted me off the back of Big Brother, the guys who did all of Chris Lilley’s stuff.

“It will involve Ben Zabel from my year of Big Brother as well.”

I've done nothing of the sort, actually. I like Drew a lot, as it happens--it's more that he doesn't need defending. In my mind I wasn't giving Tully 100% of the credit by ANY means--I was merely defending her against the ZERO credit she tends to get for possibly being a decent friend and human being, based on comments on SM from people who know her. I apologise if I was too easily misunderstood in what I was saying, but I have to say I think you are misreading me here. And I can't speak for Sweetgeek, but I'd guess the same goes?

Referring to your first paragraph: yes I did say that the split can be blamed on both of them and not just put blame on drew... and thereafter I said why should either be blamed when relationships can just fall apart and sometimes there is no reason to lay blame, it's just how it is. But where did I attribute all the praise of tully for the state of their relationship as it is now? I was referring to the fact she can be friends with exes in general and assuming that tahlias posse may not be so thrilled, she has managed to make it work. This was not looking at it from the drully perspective, so please be sure not to assume this was about that alone.

Referring to paragraph two: refer to my explanation in my first paragraph as I think you may have misunderstood. This is not about comparing drew or tully. This was me defending tully and my views that I thought she was handling the situation well, no where did I throw drew under the bus, so maybe read what I said again with this regard. (Edit: yes @littlebear, the same goes for me and why I was defending her too, glad you understood what I meant)

Referring to Paragraph three: for the record I like drew! A whole lot more than tully. I have no issues about him, so I'm not sure where this information is coming from.

Now overall, "give credit where it's due" Are you fucking kidding me?

Aside from died in the wool Tim and jade fans, we love Drew. Even those fans didn't necessarily drink the 'Drew as Bitch' Koolaid...maybe time to reexamine your reading of things. When @littlebear gives Drew a serve I'm leaving ;)

I agree with everything after the .........

As for before that:

I think you mean "dyed" not "died"

And it's not "just" Tim and Jade "dyed in wool" fans who dislike Drew - a lot of Jade fans love Drew, so do a lot of Tim fans. I dislike Drew, but it has nothing to do with Jade. Pookie hates Jade and Tim, and doesn't like Drew. We are all individuals. Please don't generalise. It's not a "bad" thing to not like Drew. It's just a different perception.
 
I wish the HM's would hurry up and post something interesting on SM tonight, there doesn't seem to be much happening atm.:)
I'm guessing Tully,Tim and Jade will all be back at the Sydney auditions tomorrow?
Tahan said she would be at the Melbourne auditions but not sure which other HM's will be there ....hopefully a few.
Tahan will possibly be visiting NZ soon. David is racing in Auckland 24-27 April but the Melbourne auditions are 26 and 27th April.
