Ben is more than welcome to take that opportunity. But it doesn't mean he has worked harder or is more talented to than other HM's.

It doesn't mean he's worked less hard either, although I know that is what his detractors believe. In my case, I believe you make your own luck. Ben has worked hard at this. The fact that he appears to be successful at it, is not down to luck. It irritates me, that because it seems like an enjoyable/fun job, it seems that some don't acknowledge it as work. I'm not saying that's you [MENTION=33321]delcan[/MENTION] but I'm struggling about why Ben's success should in any way be a negative. This shouldn't be about comparing housemates.

I agree completely with your last point - I used Ben as the example for a reason (if I used other HM's, we would have been about 10 pages on of random essays). I don't believe people make their own luck, but that is coming from someone who works with people who have dementia, cancer etc. so I have a vested interested. My problem is more with spiteful comments and tags like "tahanonneighboursjadeon?".

Is Tahan going to be on Neighbours? Neighbours is filmed in Melbourne, and Home and Away filmed in Sydney

Bens weekly gig doing the movie reviews, could lead to bigger things over time, as he gets more tv experience

I wonder when Tully will update her instagram, and when will we see snail boobs:)

I'm suggesting the luck thing with work...not in too broad a context ;)
I do however think that self-awareness is useful too. Ben seems well aware of what works for him in regards to connecting with his audience. Clever man.

No one mentioned Ben or even made a disparaging comment about Jade or her studies. You seem to be taking things about Jade way too much to heart for someone who is I assume a complete stranger to you. Maybe ignore the tags on this thread if they bother you so much? Until you kept going on about them the other day I don't think most of us even knew that feature existed on the forum.

He throws out obnoxious comments like this on Twitter all the time. I've also seen him sort of Twitter-befriending some nasty trolls. I haven't bothered commenting on him much, but one of my biggest reservations about Ben and his judgment is that he's buddies with Rohan.

Rohan wouldn't have any knowledge on the subject. Firstly he left the house before Drully started, and secondly he doesn't seem to have much contact with any of the housemates besides Jade recently. I think he likes to stir. If it were fake I think Tim would have been aware
