Oh gosh delcan I'm so sorry to hear about your friend and your colleagues son. That's just terrible :(

They are probably the two women I most admire in my life - both have created beautiful families, are intelligent, caring and loving. And now courageous. I'm sad, but it makes me determined to be the best friend I can be for them.

Sadly it always seems to be those type of people that get dealt the worst fate. It's certainly not fair. I genuinely hope they both pull through this as best they can. Yourself as well <3

How very very sad- it certainly put things into perspective and makes us realise how short life is and how important our loved ones are.

you must be spinning - so sorry to read about your friend and also your colleague. Seems its a day for it. One of my son's friends died in a Thai hospital yesterday - after having surgery for a broken ankle - threw an embolism ... 20 also.

Makes Xavier's blog just a little more poignant doesn't it!
