Of course I am. I never said she did confront him, just that we don't know that she hasn't. I respect that everyone has the right to make their own assumptions based on the small bit of info we get, but at the same time I don't know if it's fair to throw around comments like "I have no respect for anyone that gets others to fight their battles for them" when a) Jade has confronted Tim before so that's obviously not what she does, and b) that would imply that she had any control over the actions of two strong personalities in Mikkayla or Nathan anyway.

Saying that she wanted them to fight her battles for her first implies that she did something to request that. How do we know that she even went to Mikkayla or Nathan to bitch/vent? What if Mikkayla saw the video and asked her how she felt and she answered? What if Nathan wanted some ammo for his campaign against Tim and last night asked her how they were? I find that a lot easier to believe than her actually asking them to confront him for her. If we learnt anything about Jade it's that she doesn't like being stuck in the middle of people's fights and agendas (like she was in the house with Tim and Ed). What do you want her to do? Confront Tim on Twitter about it? We all saw what happened to Mikkayla when Tim took her suggestion public and implied people take sides.

And please don't sit there and go on with the "this is why we don't mention Jade" crap. I think we've (the "Jade fans") responded to your posts respectfully so I don't see why you need to get personal and imply that our opinions are somehow void.
It has nothing to do with responding respectfully. It's the putting words in my mouth, saying I said things I never have, continual jumping on people if they dare say something about Jade - whether in here or passive aggressively in the JA thread which has happened again tonight for fuck sake - and the picking apart of each person's comment looking for any supposed slur against precious Jade.

This is my first post today: "Nathan has a very clear sense of right and wrong in his mind and is also one of the bitchiest (often humorously so) drama queens I've ever come across. This is often exacerbated when he's drinking. All of that can be fine but the problem is his sense of right and wrong is often far removed from reality and/or grossly over-exaggerated and you're left sitting there wondering wtf he's on about. He's also stubborn as all hell. Alex could show him every second of BB footage from this season as proof Tahan never said that mole sheeit and he still wouldn't believe it. It's obvious (to me at least) that they were discussing Tim at some point last night and Nathan felt he had to white knight Jade in a situation that has zero to do with him. In fact, most of his comments that we've discussed are when he's yapped about a situation/repeats what was "said" when he's not part of the equation at all. Now whether Jade encouraged Nath to defend her - either overtly or subtly - is debatable but the point remains that the only time he is relevant and worthy of our discussion in here is when he launches at someone else in a situation in which he's not involved. Other than that, he hardly rates a mention unless it's an extremellllllllly slow day. That says it all."

I suggest you go back and read how the conversation transpired after that with multiple instances of both you and blake putting words into my mouth and making conclusions that weren't there. Every single time Jade is discussed in here - even way out on the periphery - it turns into a shit storm. Why is that? Why does it only happen with her fans and no one else's? I've said a grand total of ONE SENTENCE about Tim's video: "As for Tim's latest vid and the much expected hullabaloo I can only sit back and smile." And then when the Mikkayla thing happened I said ZERO. Instead I watched most people tear him to shreds in here and I didn't say a word because people are entitled to their opinions without my turning it into a drawn out drama and trying to twist what someone said. I sure in hell didn't have the right to start putting words into their mouths or suggest they said things they never did. No matter how respectfully I may have tried to come across. ;)

Haha don't know why you are including me as a Jade fan because I definitely am not. Drew, YES Tahan YES, Jade NO
Rereading the above I still come to the same conclusion. Why does Nathan deserve that negativity for sticking up for his friends in this situation but Tim doesn't for starting it ?

I think we shall have to agree to disagree

Great post Mrs Butterface...thoughtful and reasonable. I like your straightforward approach.

I'm relieved about this. I was trying to remember whether you were or not and I was thinking that you and I had the same faves :)

i don't mind Nathan having a go at Tim on Twitter, he knows that is how Tim likes to play, out in the open. alcohol has played a part in this, and it has come from Jade probably having a D&M with Nathan. Nathan might be bitchy but he is also sensitive, and is playing the friend and that's about it. just got to face the fact that SM plays a main role in everything these days, from revealing ones thoughts, activities, fights, and disagreements

And everyone is making a hell of a lot of assumptions based on no facts. The only fact I can gather that I can be sure of is that Nathan is a good friend.

Good point.

What's been niggling me about Nathan's go at Tim is the timing (and for some reason your post has given me a lightbulb moment). Since the video was released jade has been in contact with Nathan regarding this weekend. They had an hour long convo on Wednesday night, spent from mid-day Friday together, went clubbing Friday night after the parade (alcohol would have been there), all day Saturday together and more clubbing Saturday night, and staying at the same house - heaps of time for Jade to have talked to Nathan. Why did Nathan only let loose in the middle of the night? I'm wondering now if people may have started asking Jade or Nathan about Tim and the video while they were out. At that time Nathan was drunk and strangers bringing up the subject of Tim's video and how Jade or the others felt about it may have been all the provocation Nathan needed to let fly at Tim (again).
