Yes, this is what I was going for. I know they could find a market for that level of clothing in the US, but not play suits. ( note US people from hot climates might in fact wear play suits.)

Although she started the day or the weekend thanking her great friends who have stood by her. She seemed very excited about her plans, maybe even trying too hard. ( Drew, I making a toastie! do you want one?)

I guess I shouldn't get involved because I have gone from supporting her to understanding her crazy selfish antics in the house is just how she deals with life. That's ok.

It is possible that I cared about Drew and his feelings when I thought I cared about Tully.

She did have to deal with a ton of pressure and I think she has handled it a million times better than I could have. I think her feelings for Drew were real but unrealistic in her real life. But there are people who feel the entire thing was her using Drew to get attention. I don't think it was a pre planed thing for her to find a guy. And, damn, Drew is so hot you can see the attraction.

I couldn't live with the emotional extremes she puts herself through. I do think that part of her is broken due to her Mom and her family and she probably needs lots of support to deal with it. I can have compassion for her but just be over her shallow, screwed up life. I hoped for more.

I know I've expressed this a few times. Thanks for letting me vent!! I got so attached to her and Drew in the house. I even got up early in the morning to watch them and to follow the live feeds.

WOW! That is a bit of an over reaction, don't you think? I was just offering a different perspective about the article. Just the article. Nothing else. I just asked you to put you feet in Jade's shoes if you were in that situation. That is all. You need to leave your past anger about ME behind.

Yes, I agree. My 14 year old niece loves that style of clothing. She wears this type often. So you could say I have a sugar sister in my life lol. It's bright, colourful and appropriate for that age group. I actually prefer young girls dressed like this over some of the revealing and too mature to be worn type of clothing I see some young girls wear.

Perhaps if she had just moved to Adelaide that might be a relevant point, but she doesn't live in Adelaide - she there working for 2 days. She's not on her own, she is with Nathan and Ross and working for Channel 9 - so under those circumstances I wouldn't expect Ed to give anyone his father's phone number. Restaurant tips, yes - but his father's number? No

Jade was a stage 5 clinger in the house, so we know she has it in her. So if we see what looks like a simple "friendly gesture" from Ed toward her and her try make it anything more, then it certainly does, at that point, begin to look like she is exhibiting the stage 5 clinger behaviors all over again.

Oh please, this has nothing to do with past anger. Don't turn this around to deflect a point I make. Besides your post to me started with a she was clearly asked about ed, as if I am stupid and don't get it, you then subtlety accuse me of purposefully making jade into something that many others see. So let's not play this charade of playing victim. My post was as it is, calling out that I'm allowed to an opinion and that the only no win situation is one that you are trying to push for. The only over reaction is yours and mine is a response to that. Don't accuse me of what you do and act defensive when you get the same response. Take it as it is!

I could see this if the interviewer simply asked "how's Ed" . But the article points out that they previously interviewed Ed and he had said that he planned to show Jade around Adelaide - therefore it is quite possible that the questions she replied to asked specifically about what advice and help Ed had given Jade for the trip to make things easy for her there.

She left the house 3 1/2 months ago, and they haven't seen each other for 2 months, so I'm not sure if you can necessarily make the assumption from her interview answers (to unknown questions) that she is a clinger based on months old behaviours exhibited in a manufactured and isolated environment.

I think you are over interpreting things I say and assuming they mean otherwise. It was a simple reply. Relax.

I think it's like what rose711 stated. She went that extra step too far. She could have left the response a little more restrained IMO.

Im perfectly relaxed, delcan. Read your post to me first, you asked the questions and I replied. Just like my post, it was a simple reply. You started the wow over reaction, so maybe it's you that needs to relax

why would Ed give Jade his Dads number? she stayed with Nathan at one of his relatives home, she was very well taken care of i would imagine. so did she 'persuade' him to give her the number by playing the 'i don't know Adelaide, or anyone there, and i will be a bit lost' convo? is Ed just being polite or plain dumb?

Listen, while you lovely Americans are here, have you been watching True Detective? It is breathtakingly good and Matthew McConaughey and woody Harrelson on the small screen is a bonus. I'm gobsmacked :)
