she was a great laugh and a good sport, and so was tim, he could take it as good as he got. I remember when they first went in and i thought he was a prick about the half way house. I thought i HOPE he gets stuck in there and then we'll watch what a sook he is. But he took it for the experience it was and had fun with it. That's when i realised maybe i've seen him wrong. I remember when someone took him to task at one of the house dinners and had a go at him for something and i was surprised at how he took it as constructive criticism and didn't get shitty at all. He could take it as well as he could give it until the very end, with boog. Now, he took it fine for the first couple of weeks but when it's only you getting nailed and no one is laughing with you but at you, even his prank buddy drew, its understandable that it got too much.
I don't see why she wanted to prove a point, what for? Tim lost his cool the least of anyone in there and he copped a butt load of crap, from being ambushed in the bathroom and made to explain himself, to being the only person blamed for things that others had a part in, and he still kept smiling. Wearing someone down until they tell you "you treat me differently to everyone else" isn't making a point, it's going too far. His whole demeanor changed and everyone thought it was great, yeah good onya boogsy, pat on the back. And even then she just got shitty with him and belittled him a bit more. They were all good sports and boogs was one of the best, she had a great attitude, but when it came to tim, hammering the same person over and over isn't funny, especially when everyone else is backing you and enjoying you trying to "make a point" out of someone.
I'm just so angry with both Drew and Tully that they were not able to make something so simple work out. The only reason I came to this thread were because of Drully. I didn't care for anyone else post BB and now I have been let down.
i guess I think she knew Tim was on his way to winning and she wanted to challenge him perhaps? I think she honestly thought he COULD take it and was as surprised as everyone else when he couldnt - and remember she kept chasing him down to talk about it and set things to rights.
The others were encouraging her - because they had too much to lose to do it themselves.
Also Tim did target Ben endlessly for pranks - or so it seemed. I know they are good buddies now (although for the life of me apart from the promise of a free trip I don't see WHY Ben would want to spend too much time with Tim - they are just such polar opposites) but I felt at times Tim went just a bit too far with Ben because he was more vulnerable than some of the other 'stronger' personalities there. Now you KNOW I'm not a fan of Ben - so you can see Im trying to be fair minded.
You've reminded me of why I started off disliking Tim in the first weeks - it was the attitude to the half way house people - the total lack of empathy towards their plight. the delight in it! but he won me round but not to the point that I believe the sun shines out of him![]()

...

i don't think anything with tully would ever be simple. They gave it shot but these things happen.
yeah they were a good bunch weren't they. Lots to love and lots to aggravate about them all. I don't think tim targeted ben though...salt in his coffee was harmless, the photo exchange was something i'd do for a laugh and it was all in good fun. He teased him a bit about being an old man but ben is not some wimp who can't take it as we saw when it came to shutting people out. I think ben was irritated by him but it was good natured and tim obviously adores ben. Remember when they swapped clothes, i think tim tried to include him a fair bit.
Now tim is certainly rough around the edges, but i think that's why i warmed to him so much, he really isn't what he first appeared to be, he seems to be one big extremity....extremely loud, extremely cheeky, extremely opinionated, extremely smart, extremely full of himself, extremely kind, extremely generous, extremely annoying etc etc etc
I think out of the house boogs would have got along better with tim because locked up in there with nothing to do probably brought out the mischief maker in her, and tim was an easy target because he had already ruffled a few feathers and was able to take it most of the time.
its all good.

but boog was a bitch to him.
Yes, I was as well. Never know with Tim - sometimes he is serious, sometimes he is not. His reaction though is usually spontaneous, which makes me think what he said was not just to stir the pot.
it was prank for prankthey all pranked each other, all the time. But boog pranked tim non stop, over and over, and he had no one on his side. Who else did boog prank? Boog would say demeaning things to him quite often too, like about him being more of a woman etc. and sometimes he would laugh but it was all the time. I don't think she was deliberately being horrible, she thought he could take it and he could up to a point, but i think he felt like she could do what she wanted and everyone was laughing at him with her. If he did something to her someone else would tell her or back her up in retaliation, he felt isolated. It was easy to see and how many times did he say it. She wouldn't have pissed on the peas if tahan had grown them that's for sure. If she spread it around a bit it might be funny, but always directed at the same person was a bit much.
