i think Teddys date might have to be in Melb after all. i don't like the idea of Ed being that close to the Cross with all those nacked gewls and all actually i would love to see him drunk at the cross, i would, with lots of photos taken, but not on their date

I'm taking my rose coloured glasses off as well ( I have been wearing them as far as Drew is concerned) It seems like he has made no effort at all - so much for his statements about love. I don't think it's a money issue - doesn't stop him going to nightclubs and that's not cheap. Mind you Tully is no better - the dog selfies drive me crazy - I love dogs but that is obsessive. Seems like neither of them thinks their relationship is/ was worth the effort to go that extra mile.
There had my rant. Will put my rose coloured glasses back on and go and sit in the corner again.

One of the major red flags for me that the romantic relationship is over is the fact that he hasn't been to Sydney in so long. I know, it costs money, but she has obligations that keep her in her city, too, and...I don't know. It's like there's a little bit of a lack of effort, if there's anything more than friendship still there.

(Please don't yell at me!)

I'm glad you said this, this is where I was tracking a few weeks ago. Tully has made it clear to everyone that she has her sick mum and her dog keeping her in Sydney. I get he has commitments, but a long distance relationship takes effort from both ends.

She has been staying in Sydney a lot with family/friends (probably the majority of the last month, except for when she was with the SS on the GC and Tim at Byron). Sorry, shouldn't have assumed non-Jade fans would know that.

Doubting Thomasinas in here: It hasn't even been 4 weeks since they were last together. During that time Drew's had his best mates in from overseas (and seems like they're leaving now if I understand the above pic correctly), it was the holidays and they both spent it with their families (ignoring Tully's family situation, it still wouldn't be unusual for a couple who hadn't even been together for 2 months LOL), Tully has Luna every 2nd week and she also had The Today Show. If it's this time next month and they still haven't seen each other then maybe start to panic.

Just curious though, how often are people honestly expecting them to see each other? Every week, every fortnight, every month?

I quite like the idea of 'Teddy' - would not be as volatile as 'Drully' - I don't think Ed throws tantrums. Tully would even be happy to have Nick tag along as well.

And therein lies the rub. Drew is as attached to his community as Tully is to hers. I am very sympathetic abut her mother, but not the fucking dog. Give me Dougal any day

I would think at least every fortnight - particularly given the holiday time. If it were me in their situation I would want to see my partner as often as possible. If they alternated the travel every fortnight, it's not such a burden on either one - would only be a trip away once a month. Even if it is just for 2 days at a time.
