Agreed...but you feel a bit differently when you repeatedly see your posts getting sent to Ed on Twitter just because you might have said something about him on here that couldn't be equated to worship.
That's what bugs me because this is a forum. We're supposed to discuss things. We're obviously not going to all like the same people, and honestly it would be boring if we did.
I got so annoyed with the other main thread yesterday I put in a comment just to see what would happen , I am finding the whole obsession with just one person pretty boring and sad, (yes I will always defend Ed but I do have a life!)
Anyway as much as I don't like Tim I think he and Ben could have a fun show on TV. It's Xmas holidays, no wonder HMs aren't posting. Probably any TV. Radio , modelling will start again early Feb. I wonder who will succeed before the new crop of HMs take over in 2014?

Thanks smurfette, had not been reading the Jade appreciation thread, though I do like her. That's been a busy thread the last few days, feeling more caught up now. Guess I will add my two cents, happy its over between her and Ed, they never were a good fit at all and it was the most awkward thing to watch ever. They will both be happier with other people. Really do hope Jade is going to be on DWTS, she would be awesome on that!
It's all speculation but the general consensus seems to be that something went down two weeks ago (the Saturday night/early Sunday morning) while Jade was in Melbourne. Yesterday a girl commented on a friend's Instagram pic of how Ed had opened her snapchat saying this:

That would fit the timeline perfectly because the night we thought something went down Nick posted a pic at a place called motel but deleted it.
Oh and I should just add that Ed started following the girl who wrote the comment so I don't think she's full of shit.

Gemini, that's wrong. It does make you feel inadequate of posting. I wonder if they are on here now. That's why posters have created throwaway accounts in twitter I guess, to avoid all of this.

I can say I don't always get the appreciation of a hm, but I do think that an appreciation thread is titled as just that. You may not get it, but you are entering a thread at your own will knowing it's about a certain hm. My suggestion is that you don't bother with it as it will annoy you less hopefully.
I'm very much interested to know who will succeed. I think you're right, it's holiday time and hm's won't be doing much until the end of jan early feb. The Tim and Ben duo kind of gives me idiot abroad vibes. I personally will enjoy it.
I hope your sister is right. This seasons housemates were quite special and it would be a shame if a few of them weren't given something so we could continue to watch them.

You shouldn't even worry about it. Ed knows people don't like him. It's par for the course. He's handled a lot of it with humor. It seems he's not taking it too seriously. It is MUCH stranger, while in the name of support, he's tagged in conversations that he is NOT a part of, all in the hopes that he jumps in at any moment. He's not an idiot, if he wanted to chat with those constantly tagging him, guess what, he would. I also don't think he's appreciative of people tagging him what others are saying about him. It's like, so what? You can't take people seriously who constantly go on about how negative people are to Ed and Jade, only to then bring the negativity, or perceived negativity, right to them. Again, he's well aware he's not universally liked. Honestly, don't sweat it.

I'm super excited. I really do want to see Tim on the screen again. I hope these ideas come through and don't end up being nothing. The hippy retreat sounds interesting. I honestly can't wait for a Ben and Tim combo. It's a laugh factor for sure.
I didn't realise Tim had so much happening. Did he ever mention that these will be televised? I just don't want it to be just for online viewing.

"Our beach house" - our who though? I know most of her friends have gone off places to do things for NYE.
The only photos/info will probably come from her/whoever is with her - I've never been nor know the area but it looks rather remoteish (relatively that is)?
I suppose if Drew is not with her he would probably do something in Melbourne and we would get someone taking a photo with him maybe.

Oh crap, sorry! That was completely unhelpful then, that's a bit embarrassing. I didn't actually look at the link, I just knew that's where she was. Its a fairly small town kind of place, versus some of the bigger places on the central coast. Nice beach though.
